If you want designer jeans, plan to at least look here. My friend and I were in the market for some designer jeans, and we received quite a few recommendations for this place. We stopped by, and definitely were not disappointed. When we went, we did not see any of the huge mainstream brands (i.e. Seven, True Religion). What they did have however was a good selection of styles from labels ranging from the slightly more well-known (Citizens of Humanity, 575, Chip & Pepper) to special imports and underground labels (Taverniti, and others I haven't heard of).

If I had to say anything against the place, it is that their size selection seemed limited. Although, maybe this is due to the fact that they often get new styles and go through what they have rather quickly (or I just have a common waist size). Another thing is, while the ladies working at the shop were extremely helpful in picking out jeans from their selection, it seemed they tended to say everything anyone tried on "looked good". Not a big deal, but, you know... Also the lighting is quite dim, so maybe that's the reason everything "looked good".

Anyhow, at the very least, I definitely recommend stopping by this little shop if you're on a quest for hard-to-find jeans.

(For what it's worth, keep in mind that this review is from the point of view of two gents, and the ladies in the store at the time seemed to all find something they really liked that fit well.)

The best denim store in Dallas. The Blues Jean Bar is by far the best place to buy denim in Dallas. Sure, they have all the well known brands -- Paige, 575, AG -- but I like it b/c they have premium denim you can't find everywhere else! The owners are experts...they know exactly what will look good on your body type, which is so nice since there are so many brands and styles these days. Definitely stop by the BJB in Snyder Plaza...I'm sure you will fall in love with it just as much as I have!

GREATTTT denim!. I was meeting my girlfriend at a restaurant nearby for lunch and decided to stop by the Blues Jean Bar. They had over 20 different brands of jeans and tons of cute tops...I snagged a great pair of 575's and a cute t-shirt.

BEST EXPERIENCE!. I love the Blues Jean Bar! The customer service was awesome! They new exactly what worked for my body type and now I have a great pair of jeans for the fall...I have told all of my friends about it! Can't wait to get another pair of jeans and fill up my 6 pack card!
