What People Are Saying About Bliss

In Short – Bliss thrives on humorous treatment names and attentive service. Attendants help reduce cellulite with a "quadruple thighpass" and relieve aching muscles with a "hot off the stresses" massage. A lounge area and locker room offer extra perks such as the legendary brownie buffet and a eucalyptus-scented steam shower. Chocaholics indulge in the "double choc pedicure": a hot chocolate exfoliating foot soak with a cup of creamy cocoa served on the side.
Best Brazilian Wax!
by Tiffnco
My love affair with Bliss began long before I ever stepped foot in one of their spas. I heard about the company and was fascinated with their modern design, down-to-earth attitude, and quirky humor. Obviously, when I found out they were building a Bliss in Dallas, I freaked. I actually dragged a group of friends with me the night the W opened just so I could get a sneak peek of the spa. I've been going there to get treatments ever since. My regular treatments include the Hot Cream Manicure, "Dew" Diligence Facial, and the Brazilian plus Full Leg Wax. My favorite is definitely the wax, which may seem a bit weird but hear me out. The wax they use is effective but it really is, as they say, as painless as possible. Also, the estheticians are very professional - they walk out the room to give you time to de-robe and, without going through all the details, they only make you reveal the bare minimum needed to wax each area as they go. By the time you leave, you'll be smoother than the day you were born, without any irritation. I'd definitely recommend it for beginners or wax alums. Check it out!
- Pros: Great atmosphere, amazing showers (you have to try these!), sauna, lockers, skilled estheticians, brownie buffet (....need I say more??)
- Cons: Location (driving through Downtown Dallas isn't exactly relaxing), Price
Hot off the Stresses, best massage

I arrived at Bliss and felt as if I had stepped into the clouds. The waiting area was small, but intimate the only complaint here was the bright sun coming through the windows. my therapist was friendly, but not overly conversational, enhancing my relaxation. The massage was thorough and very relaxing. Following the massage, my energy level was enhanced. The eucolyptus shower was amazing and very good for allergy season. I will absolutely putt Bliss at the top of my list.
- Pros: Awesome service and ammenities
- Cons: Parking--20.00 Valet
Exceptional Service, Layout Could Be Better

I was aprehensive to go due to prices for services. My first appointment was for a facial on a Sunday morning. I was a bit disappointed in the thin robe and plastic flip flops given at check-in. An esthetician escorted me to my locker and explained how to lock and unlock it since it's digital and no key is needed. I checked out the showers which there are only two of. I had heard about the eucalyptus aroma steam feature, but it may not have been working that day. Lots of fun shampoos, soaps, face washes, lotions, etc. are available in shower and at the sinks. The lounge is small, I cannot imagine having more than 3 or 4 people in there. Fresh lemon ice water, brownies, cheese, crackers, and olives were available. The locker area is also small with no changing rooms available...would be very cramped if more than 2 or 3 people changing at once.
The best part, and most important, was the esthetician for my facial. Stephanie was down to earth and very open and honest about her observations and suggestions. I would definitely book another appointment with Stephanie for a facial. She also does waxing. I welcomed the thorough hand, arm and foot massage as well. She never left the room and always was doing something.
The staff was pleasant and courteous...things are always tended to, but there are no interruptions and I never felt like I was in the way or they were in mine.
Be aware of the $20.00 valet parking. There is no self-parking available and no discounts given for Bliss guests. Perhaps consider meter parking on the street depending on the time of day.
- Pros: Estheticians, amenities
- Cons: Parking, robes, sandals, small locker room
