The Scene – There's not much decor to speak of at this busy Lebanese joint. The place is simply decorated with a few photographic stills of the country's beautiful architecture. But Richardson residents and the local Middle Eastern community remain unfazed. The restaurant does a swift takeout business. Staff is friendly and patient to translate the menu for the uninitiated. They switch effortlessly from Arabic to English and greet regulars by name. – – The Food – The Afrah Sampler is a filling platter of zesty homemade dips, grape leaves, falafel, kibbeh and warm…
What a sham

I cannot understand the hype based on the reviews written here. Probably none of these people have had middle eastern food before. Yes, its hard to find authentic shawarmas in the DFW area, but this is hardly the place to even experiment.
- Pros: Outdoor seating?
- Cons: The food
LOVE this place, been going there for years
by cbarnhurst
The lunch buffet is great, but spring for the extra $2 or $3 and have them bring you out a plate of schawerma meat. Great Mediterranean food with a Lebanese emphasis, friendly owners and employees. The cheese pies and dessert pastries are also great. I'm a real fan of several of their gelato desserts as well, but not every flavor is for every taste. Just about every time I'm down in Richardson around lunchtime you'll find me here.
- Pros: Fantastic schawerma and hummus
Authentic Fresh Lebanese Food
by SAMERSON
Great all you can eat buffet at lunch with healthy tasty food, Three different Salads, Hummus and Baba Ganoug, at least three vegtable friendly hot dishs, shish tawouk (chicken) and kafta kabeb (beef) cooked over charcol, Fresh made pita, and a thyme and sesame spice pie (manaich). Two different deserts that usually include a great chocolate mousse. They greet you by name and are very appreciative for your patronage. The owner hovers over the buffet making sure the food is good qaulity and the server trays stay full. Fantastic gelato ice cream, and a none ending production of fresh baklava made with all kinds of nuts in house.
- Pros: Friendly staff, fresh food, consistent Qaulity
- Cons: Richardson Too far away
