This place really is a "Pit". We were at the lake and decided to stop in here because we've been to Dickeys and they are pretty good barbecue. This one wasn't! The brisket was fatty and tough. The turkey was clear, like jello, so it looked like it was all fat or something. The beans had an off taste that none of us could figure out. How do you screw up this stuff so badly? It's easy food as restaurant food goes. And then when we went to the bathroom the toilet was backed up, no towels and there was a foul odor from the liquid (?) on the bathroom floor.
