HORRIBLE experience. Looks are deceiving. My father came to visit, so my husband and I took him out to Cru thinking the food would be great (it looked good on their website). We were WRONG. Not only is service slow, but when the food was brought out, the waitress ignored me and served the men. My dinner was brought out 10 minutes later! Last I checked, proper etiquette was to serve everyone at the same time. And the sad part was, we all ordered the same dish! Very rude. But the worst part was the POOR QUALITY. While my father's chicken was mostly white, mine was pink and red all over (and the potatoes were hard/uncooked for all of us!). When I brought this to the attention of a server, she said she'd take it to the kitchen to see if it was pink. It took her 10 minutes to bring it back and when she did, she said she had the chef cook it a little longer. Well, the meat was white this time, but now VERY DRY and like chalk. Not only that, but they would only credit my dish on the bill. I was so disgusted and embarrassed for choosing to eat at this place. What a waste of money! We ended up paying the bill and heading to an AWESOME restaurant down the street for our REAL dinner (Main Street Bread Bakery & Bistro- which serves DELICIOUS entrees, sandwiches, and desserts! Try their grilled chicken bruschetta for dinner and a lava cake for dessert!). Go figure dinner at the bakery (with dessert included!) came out to a LOT less than dinner at Cru. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY AT CRU!
