quaint place. quaint place in M street area of East Dallas. Very good salads (especially the chicken salad) and sandwiches. Order at the counter and pick up at the counter; no service to the table. Good people watching. It is next door to Society Bakery which has very good cupcakes, but the deserts at Corner Market are good as well. In warm weather, they have tables outside. Parking can be a bit of a problem; most of the time you have to find a spot on a side street.

WOW That was bad.... Let me start off by saying I was sooo excited to go here because is just down the street from me. We called on a sunday am to see if they were open and got a short ( Yes we are open; click ) Thought they just might be busy. So, we headed down and walked in through the little shop next door. Very nice flowers, frames etc. Then we walked in to the market and our 1st impression was great. This is were it goes down hill fast... We were greeted by an employee behind the counter who didn't seem like he really didn't want to be there. We did't get any help with the menu at all. So, we did out best and ordered a turkey sandwich and 2 eggs over easy, a water, juice drink, a coffee and a blueberry muffin. The girl ring us up had to ask help a couple times on how to work the register and prices for different items. The total she came up with was $34.00???? We didn't really think twice about it till we sat down just looking at what we had it should have been $18 to $20. Then the food came. The sandwich was fine. Its hard to mess up a turkey sandwich. Eggs were ok, toast had no butter and couldn't find any butter anywhere in the store nor could I find any silverware; just a plastic fork. That made it a little hard to cut my sausage. All and all if you want a cup of coffee, a decent sandwich or some overpriced flowers or a picture frame, the Corner Market is for you.

The Most Exclusive Lunch Spot in Dallas, unbelievable, one-of-a-kind sandwiches.. Corner Market is a florist, bakery, and deli on Lower Greenville Ave. I have seen it, thought about and then driven past it many times before without realizing there was a hidden treasure. On a whim, my friend called me and urged to me to accompany him to lunch at his "new spot" as he called it. The pulled pork is amazing. I have had many sandwiches from many different places both good and bad. Corner Market has the best. I'll let you know when I try the next one.

Lower Greenville cafe fixes sandwiches, serves coffee and prepares takeout entrees.. In Short
Housed in an 86-year-old former pharmacy, the original terrazzo floor and restored tin-stamped ceiling give the cafe a comforting, nostalgic feel. Seating is a collection of tile-topped tables huddled next to the large picture windows. Sandwiches listed under "hot" and "cold" are named after neighborhood streets except for the Mom's Meatloaf with provolone and the "Miller Time" pulled pork sandwiches. The dessert case displays a selection of handmade truffles and cakes.
