awesome. we stayed here for an anniversary...it was a really fun colorful hotel. really trendy. i forgot the name of the restaurant, but it was heavenly...look it up. it is a tad pricey, but well worth it.
Take a dip. Have you ever seen the pool? It juts out about 5 feet over the side of the building towards the street and its got a great "scene." The only time I knew anybody else was staying at the hotel was when I was at the pool - I think that's a good thing.
Best Hotel in Dallas!. The Joule is one of the trendiest, most chic hotels I have seen. The pool is great to enjoy during the day overlooking downtown or at night by the trendy bar. They are in the best location and the rooms are not too expensive. You are in great walking distance of awesome restaurants, shopping (Neimans is close by), bars and clubs.
Spectacular hotel. My wife and I stayed at the Joule this past weekend and had an absolutely amazing time. The staff was attentive and prompt and the service was quick and accurate. We stayed in one of the smaller 2-room suites and all I can say about it is WOW. The design of the entire room was classy conteprorary and the bathroom was much larger than expected. Everything about the room and decor was top-notch. I know that there were other guests on our floor as well as other guests in the hotel but I would have never know it because we heard nothing through any of the walls the entire weekend. Everything in the room was in working order including the Bose wave radio with Ipod/Iphone dock which we took extensive advantage of. We were originally scheduled to stay one night but after seeing the room we immediately extended our stay for a second night. In short, we would highly recommend the Joule to anyone that wants up-scale luxury and a quiet place to stay.
spoiled wrotten.
I was crossing Main St. after Sunday lunch at the iron cactus and saw this pool of water curiously hanging out over the street... ten stories up. This caught my attention so much so that I walked back across the street and into the lobby of what I learned was The Joule.
Love at first site, I knew this is where I would have to come for my girls night out... my birthday.
Pampered to the core, service was impeccable. They brought up a microwave (dont ask), as well as a complimentary birthday tray with a wine bottle, exquisite chocolate, glass bottles of sparkling water, all arranged beautifully complete with a card.
I not only felt like I was the guest of honor but quite honestly, like I owned the place.
Every staff member I passed somehow knew i was the birthday girl and asked me how the night was, even the valet personnel.
I was very impressed... in fact I'm going back in less than a week.
It's a must see for sure!
Former 1920s Dallas National Bank Building converted to a modern luxurious 128 room boutique hotel is a downtown gem..
