nice folks, really bad beans. while the new granite was being installed in my kitchen, i needed some coffee. badly. as did my contractor who'd overdone the cab at Chamberlain's the night before. so i went to Drip Coffee about which i'd heard good things. the nice folks made me a couple of pretty good espresso's and jim enjoyed his americano. i bought some beans: sumatran and kenyan. maximally overroasted. even much worse than starbucks. terrible.

Dang Good Coffee. Neat place with a very modern decor - the owner roast all of the coffee onsite...it is a dark roast, which may explain why the fella below didn't like it. But hey, I didn't like scotch when I was fifteen either. If you want sissy coffee, then don't go here...go to La Madeline or something.

Parking can be tough on the weekends, but definitely the best coffee in Big D.

Bad Coffee, Bad Customer Service. Ok, so it may be hard to find a good cup of coffee in Dallas, but I thought I might have found it at Drip Coffee. The second time I went, however, my coffee tasted burnt. I asked for a refund, but the manager told me that they don't give refunds, and also told me that I was crazy for slandering their coffee. He finally agreed to make me an americano, which had the same flavor profile as the drip coffee. So I was wrong, it wasn't burnt, the beans were over-roasted. Maybe it was just a bad batch, and if the customer service had been good, i would have come back to try it, but the rudeness of the manager has made the choice easier for me...no thanks, Drip
