good deal !

I was a bit sceptical about this dealership when I read the reviews but they had a car I liked and they advertised only $499 down.

I went there expecting some mombo jumbo tricks but the people there were nice. I wouldnt say they were the best people in the world. They seems little bit overweelms. They could add few salespeople.

I test drove the car. I took it to a close by mechanic to have it checked. and when I got back, I bought the car with $500 down.

I would say that they are ok. I would recommend them to my friends.

• Pros: good choice of cars. low downpayment. no tricks. good people.
• Cons: no negotiation. could add one or two salespeople.

Universal Cars DISCRIMINATES

I was told over the phone that I would have no problems getting a car at Universal Cars. I told all about my credit history over the phone they said no problem. I definitely had the money. When I arrived there customer service was the worse. They only had one salesman on the lot and the other two sitting in a "hole in the wall" office. They did not know how to greet anyone and we literally were waiting right in front of the office in plain sight. I was then told to fill out the application then told a minute later they could not help me. The way the salesman phrazed it was " I'm gonna save you some time, they won't do it " .... not even a minute after i filled out the application this is what i was told. I felt discriminated against in the worst way. One guy in particular was an @$$. He may have been the finance guy and wanted me to Brown nose but i wont do that. He was childish and RUDE. I was told they do not run credit reports yet they said it was due to my credit. They are the worse dealership on the face of this earth and I would not wish for my worst enemy to go there.

• Cons: poor customer service, false advertising, RUDE office staff

Low Low Price

I think they have the lowest price in town.

The service is OK, not top, not bad.

I think they know their prices are the lowest, so they dont make the extra step.

Good : they let me test drive the car and they let me take the car to my mechanic for an inspection before I bought car.

Bad : They dont negotiate the price. They say they have a no haggle no hassle policy. I wish they had.

• Pros: I got a great car. they inspect their car by two mechanics before they put them on their lot.
• Cons: not flexible on price.
