Best Lexus repair shop in DFW. Superb and HONEST service! We recently moved to the DFW area and needed extensive work done on a 1992 Lexus SC400. After some online research, I decided to give Jason a call. I was immediately impressed with his knowledge of Lexus vehicles and professionalism over the phone. Since our problem was unique, he requested I bring the car by and leave it for him to come up with an accurate estimate. You should know that, although I am not an expert on Lexus, I rebuild cars for a hobby, and have enough knowledge to know what things should cost or if I'm being taken for a ride (sorry for the pun). Within a few hours, Jason called me and spent 35 min on the phone with me discussing what he found and what options he recommended. I found him to be truthful, accommodating and extremely patient as I gave him the third degree interrogation on what needed to be done. Needless to say, Jason was VERY fair on pricing and did excellent repair work. I you need a qualified Lexus mechanic that won't rob you blind or tack on needless extras, Jason is your man! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Dallas Fort Worth's BEST Luxury Car Repair Shop Lexus BMW.
JP Importz is an amazing business and the BEST place in Dallas/Fort Worth to take your luxury Japanese or European car to be repaired!
Jason the owner is amazing. He is extremely professional, very intelligent and his staff as well. The level of service he offers rivals if not beats the big dollar dealers in town as well as the wanna be dealers in town for Lexus/Mercedes, etc.
The trip to Garland is well worth the drive, as you will get a loaner car on most larger services, great waiting room filled with a flat screen TV, comfy stylish leather sofa, plenty of snacks for the kids and healthy snacks for adults as well as a full stocked water and soda refrigerator! Granite countertops and upscale service without the gouging prices...JP Importz is the place to take your Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, Toyota and more.
Most shops this size are filthy and rude and don't care about your car. JP Importz treats you like you are at Nordstrom with plastic on your seat and floorboard, friendly staff, loaner cars and quick turnarounds and quotes.
Don't trust any repair shop? Trust Jason...he and his staff are certified by all the major luxury brands and even walk you out to their spotless shop to show you what's wrong with your car and help you avoid any unecessary repairs unlike the expensive dealers and shady shops.
JP Importz is great! I take all my cars there and you should too!
2002 BMW X5.
For a little history on my BMW... I have had some problems in the past with oil leaks and excessive oil consumption for about 4 years now, five trips to the dealership have given nothing but, "this model consumes oil, so this is normal". Only when the extended warranty ended did they tell me that it was both valve cover gaskets. I took a look myself and found that it was only two rotted hoses in the back of the engine.
I have just driven over 1000 miles to come home for the holidays, about 400 miles out, I started having problems. Engine running rough, Service Engine Soon light etc. I brought it in to see Jason after reading reviews and can testify that this man knows how to troubleshoot. There are a lot of mechanics out there that can replace broken parts, but the number of talented diagnosticians is extremely limited. Not only did Jason find out the current problems, he quickly diagnosed and found all the problems with oil leaks, gasket problems and component failures that have eluded the dealership mechanics for over 4 years. Bear in mind, I just paid $1800 in $100,000 mile maintenance. None of the problems that my engine had were new except the ignition coil failure that caused the misfire that caused the SES light and the rough running. Jason informed me of all the items that he found faulty and recommended the repairs and quoted me a fair price. As he began taking apart the engine to perform the repairs, he found several other serious issues that really needed to be addressed. He recommended repairing them because since the labor was already being done to disassemble the engine it would be more cost effective then going back in later. This is a common tactic among mechanics to increase the amount of money they earn on repair work, except that Jason physically brought me over and showed me the leaks that he found and explained what they were and how they affected performance and may lead to future problems. He also took digital photos of what he found before and after the repairs were completed. All the faulty removed parts were placed in a bin for me to keep/inspect/or throw away at my discretion. Jason at JP Importz it the most honest mechanic I have ever heard of. I compared his cost estimates with what the dealership charges, I saved nearly half the cost in parts and I have no idea how much more in labor the dealership would have charged. When you find an honest mechanic, you keep him. When you find an honest mechanic that is as capable as Jason is, you tell everyone else about him because it is practically a miracle.
Agree with other reviewers.
My car showed up couple warning symbols on the dashboard after it was rear ended, and in trying to find a good service center, I found this shop on citysearch.
At first, it was hard to believe how all the reviewers left 5 stars, but after visiting them myself, I agree that they deserve 5 stars.
The owner and technician, Jason was courteous when I got there almost @ 5PM on Friday and even gave me a ride to a rental car facility.
I already recommended this place to my colleagues in Dallas/Carrolton area, and will use them in the future without hesitation.
Best Independent Lexus Service In The Metroplex. I've used many auto service establishments in my 39 years of automobile ownership. Don't let Jason's age or stature fool you. His skill sets and honesty are a sharp contrast to his peer group. He is the real deal.
BEST LEXUS/TOYOTA TECH IN TEXAS.
For several years, I had a Lexus, and I have had a Toyota. My Mother has had a Toyota, as has my brother. In 2003 I purchased a dismal Lexus ES250. I was 18 years old when I bought it, and had NO IDEA what to look for in that type of car. I soon found out it needed THOUSANDS of dollars worth of repairs. Jason Phan at JP Importz in Garland hooked me up. Cam seals, crank seals, rear main seal, clogged radiator, power steering rack replacement, power steering pump replacement, the list went on and on. A friend of mine on ClubLexus referred me to Jason. JP Importz was more than happy to put the time and effort into a car that most mechanics would have said "why bother?" or, "I'm not going to waste my time". Jason knew as an 18 year old kid I had little money, so he worked with me on payments and even let me do some of the work in the shop to keep my costs down. After a few trips to JP Importz, my car was no longer leaking 3 quarts of oil a week, it was running smooth, riding smooth and turning without killing me! Each repair took many hours, and as a result, I got a better deal. I even got to drive around in a newer Lexus for a week at a time while he had my car torn apart.
My parents saw the work he did on my Lexus, and my mother began taking her brand-new Toyota Camry there in 2005 for services, at a fraction of the dealer's cost. Each time, she too got a reliable, comfortable loaner to drive.
So since 2003, JP Importz has been our family mechanic. Jason and his guys will treat you right whether you are in for thousands of dollars worth of custom work, or simply in for an oil change. His rates are better than the dealer too! JP Importz has free loaner cars so you don't have to be inconvenienced with trying to find a ride to work, or having to wait for hours. JP Importz uses only Toyota/Lexus parts and employs only ASE Certified technicians, using the latest and greatest in automotive technology to get the job done right the first time. They also can access the Toyota National Database, so handling warranty claims is easy. There should be no reason to go back to your dealer ever again. After all, service departments are where they make their money. JP Importz cuts out the middle man, so they don't have to pass this cost on to the customer. So whether your Toyota/Lexus is 25 years old, or is brand new coming in for its first oil change, you know you are in good hands with JP Importz Toyota/Lexus Tuning and Repair.
JP IMPORTZ.
We bought a 1994 Toyota Supra dragrace car from JP Importz and are very happy with the service and support we received.
Jason and the crew are all at top of their game and they went beyond my expectations to arrange all logistics etc that even wasn't their responsibility.
When the car arrived here in Dubai/UAE it was exactly as described and we couldn't be happier.
I would recommend anyone to let these people work on your vehicle, in this day and time it's not easy to find trustworthy shops with professional staff.

Feel lucky to have found Jason @ JP Importz. I found Jason through Citysearch and I am happy that I did. From the first conversation, I felt that he understood our situation (my daughter had blown her engine) and that he cared about helping us. She was home on spring break and he did everything possible to get the car back to us as soon as possible. Due to circumstances that I will not go into here, an insurance adjustor was involved and Jason dealt with him in a courteous and efficient manner. Jason even picked up my daugher and me once when we needed a ride to his shop. Great guy, trustworthy, and a blessing during a rough time.
Top quality service at a fair price. When I first brought my es300 to jp importz I must admit that I was worried about what kind of work that they would do, but I figured I would give them a try and save a few $$. I am very mechanically inclined myself but had a problem that was above my head. I probably drove them crazy with all the questions I was asking but they answered them all in a professional manner. The work I had done was a 14+ hr job but Jason called to let me know how everything was going. When I came in to pick up my car Jason drove my car up on the rack so he could show me what was done and also pointed out some things that will need attention in the future. He also showed me the old parts and thorogly explained what to do to help prevent the problem from happening again. I also noticed that they thoroghly cleaned the engine of all grease and grime and the interior had also been cleaned. I have never had an auto repair place exceed my expectations until I came here. If your Lexus or Toyota is having problems, don't even bother with the stealer, this is the only place you need.
Best Lexus Service in the Metroplex.
I have been using JP Importz to service my Lexus SC and RX 300 automobiles for several years. The service has always been superb. The price is far less than the dealer, and the work is of a much better quality. Jason is a great mechanic!
The SC in particular has had a LOT of work done on it and JP Importz saved me literally thousands of dollars compared to dealer prices.
I have no idea what the previous poster is talking about concerning adding prices to the final bill. That has never happened to me, and I have been in the shop many, many times. If something extra does need to be done the shop always calls for approval before proceeding.
Oftentimes they even e-mail me photos of the work underway. That's great service !!
