In Short – Next to the World Aquarium, this 5,500-square-foot venue sports a burnished wood interior, inherited from an Irish pub that was a previous tenant. Amber lamps inject a homey note. A deck wrapped around the exterior grants a fine view of the street. NFL and college sports are displayed on 10 flat screens and a projection screen above the fireplace. On weekends, downtown denizens meet West End wanderers on the dance floor as the DJ spins.
worst bar in the df dub

Door guys think they are working the entrance of an important Hollywood club for starters. Music is average. At first thought it had potential in the beginning....I mean, if you like being associated with the washed up West Inn. Take that bar, give it a new owner, move say 3 miles down 75 N , add a new fragrance and Boom! On a positive note - Great place to go and look for some strange if you become extremely intoxicated prior to your arrival.
- Pros: Young strange
- Cons: cheese
Nice and simple

The place isn't very fancy but it gets the job done.
I forgot which night I went but it was a blast. Great music, good dance floor; my friends enjoyed ourselves. It won't get bumping till like midnight though. No cover. Ya I'm a guy so that means no cover for everyone, haha.
- Pros: nothing fancy, good for dancing

I've never seen a bar with such an identity crisis. What is it, please someone tell me! Is it a metro/gay sportsbar/nightclub/restaurant? As usual in our fickle city everyone goes to the new place to be seen, and in most cases, such as this one, we only arrive to be let down. Few bars in this city have really wowed me, and this one is definitely not one of them. I don't want to completely down grade them, its just not the upscale late night lounge or club that the ownership/management thinks or wants it to be. I read they were supposed to have the hottest staff in town and was totally let down in that department. The napoleonic muscle head with an attitude behind the bar didn't exactly strike me as one for that category. I will say there were some good looking cocktails that were nice, but thats everywhere in this city. The cocktails in this city are easily comparable to Vegas or L.A., which goes without saying. I am rather confused as to the voting on citysearch, though. Its not a bad bar, but definitely not indicative of such honors and reviews. I wouldn't give it such a strong score but who am I to say. I think I will stick with my current stock of bars and nightclubs.
- Pros: Nice T.V.'s and good food to catch a game if you live near by.
- Cons: ambiance, parking, attitudes
