The Texas way of saying Tex-Mex at it's BEST! Unassuming and tucked into Downtown Dallas, this warm and tasty place has made it's mark! Ice cold drinks and full flavored selections, these dishes taste like no other Tex-Mex! Mix and match your choice of traditional 'perfect plate creations', or choose from entrees like: Crispy HUGE Tortilla shells overstuffed with juicy Fajita meat and crisp, fresh lettuce. Rellenos topped with choices of 8 not-so-secret-anymore sauces, Mesquite-grilled-peppered-bacon-wrapped- jumbo shrimp, or half rack of mesquite ribs that fall off the bone when you look at…

In Short – Two oversized flat-screen TVs mounted on the back walls and a long bar dominate the narrow, high-ceilinged room. Exposed brick and hardwood floors remain unchanged from previous tenants. The menu is basic with a few surprises such as the fish taco wrap: lightly fried fish garnished and wrapped in a flour tortilla. Other entrees include mesquite-grilled pork ribs and taco salad. Tres leches chocolate cake and fried ice cream are rich desserts.

Awesome atmosphere and great drink specials during happy hour. Bartenders have been awesome like Tony & I think his brother Chris! Great personalities!
The food was excellant in this place. Reasonably priced for the standard of food received What really stood out for me was the excellant customer service we received from the bar staff. Helpful and nice beyond what was required. Keep up the good work!
Diner Beware

I typically do not write reviews but after my recent expericence here, I had to inform the masses of this place.
First off, let me tell you that I have known people who have gone here and said that the food and service were decent. This is the only reason that I choose to go here or else I would have went to Iron Cactus (now wishing that I would have).
When first entering the eatery, it looked relatively clean and wasn't really all that busy. Being it was a nice day, I asked to sit outside on the patio. The server was friendly and responsive, but that was about it. I felt that when I was ordering, he was not really paying attention to what I was ordering and come to find out, I was correct. Upon receiving the order, I found that my order wasn't correct and asked that it be returned. I will not hold that against anyone, as this can happen at any restaraunt. However, I will hold it against you when you get my order wrong on the SECOND time that it was made. I should have known better at that moment and just not eaten there, but decided that since it has been an hour since I was seated that I would just eat it and pick around what I didn't want since at that point I was starving. I relayed that it was incorrect the second time, but I just got a blank stare as if he didn't know what to do. I would think at that time, he would have gotten his manager. I did see him go over and talk with the manager, but I never once had any one other than the waiter talk to me.... and this also was after the fact that I let them know this was our first time there.
So fast forward 24 hours, and here I am still getting sick from their food. Being that this was the only thing I had to eat all day, I'm very confident that I was a victim of their kitchen's unkept ways. It started about 8 hours after dining there and I've been up non-stop "feeling the effects" of this meal. I contemplated going there and telling them this in person, but figured that if they couldn't be bothered to come and talk to me when I was there, why would they care after the fact.
Needless to say, I (and everyone I come into contact with) will never return here again. Considering that I work and live downtown, that is alot of business.
- Pros: Nice outside patio
- Cons: Food Poisoning, Poor Management

This is a must see for Tex-Mex and great restaurant lovers alike!
