In Short – The small, velvet-roped entrance belies the roomy lounge below. Concrete floors, low divans and art deco light fixtures make up the urban chic decor. A large, blue-lit bar is thoughtfully designed to allow for easy flow so there's no crowding to get a drink. Near the restrooms, a water wall displays the club's logo. Coat check and ladies room attendants add a touch of class.
Cool Place....Over Priced!
by Monty1975 at Citysearch
I went to this Club with some friends for a B-Day party. Nice spot with a great crowd and room to move around. My friend had her tables reserved for a certain time and the Wait-Staff were late setting them up. That's a major no, no when you've spent the money you have too, to have anything there. I went to the bar to get my drink on before the wait-staff finished and was shocked to find out that the drinksare very, very over priced! This is a spot that you'll definitely need to get your drink on before you get there. DO NOT TRUST THE BAR TENDERS!!!! And do not use your credit cards here...many people have been ripped off at this spot. Want visit anytime soon, much better places in D-Town to get your party on and not be out of $60 for 2 drinks.....lol....that's crazy to me!! I only had to pay $10 to get in but will pay anything more than that!!
- Pros: Nice Crowd
- Cons: Very over priced!!
YET ANOTHER BAD REVIEW........
by tiffanik82 at Citysearch
Clear!!! One question...how much do you pay each puppet to post bogus raving reviews of your club? Check this..I'll right this bad one for free:) Dallas, TX , America please don't visit this club!!!!! Save your time, energy, and money for a more satisfying experience. Not that the Dallas Club Scene, could not already use a boost....This club makes this fact more CLEAR to all of us.
The door: This club is NOT worth $20. Economy is bad and no one is inside. The music...sucks ( for lack of a better phrase). No one is excited to be there (VERY little dancing).
The bar: Drinks are way over priced!!!!:( You will wait approximately 10-20 min to even place an order with the bar tender, then another 10-15 getting a drink. The 1st min will be spent making the drink and the other 9-14 waiting on the ice to melt down in the metal shaker. This diluted creation will then be charged to your card at twice the price. How do you add 30% gratuity to 1 drink, ordered by 1 person? RIP OFF!!! They are crooks, no joke. (the young dark-haired gentlemen facing the DJ booth is best at this shady practice) The VERY last time I was there I spent 85% of my time there circling the bar attempting to get a drink.
TIPS: If you must visit this lame excuse for a good time....1.Go DRUNK. DO NOT fall prey to their greedy, selfish, well trained to manipulate bar tenders. 2.Bring your own party . Don't trust them to have a good crowd...they won't. 3.Arrive as late as possible...still $20 bucks to get in. Atleast then other people MAY be there and you don't feel as if you wasted your WHOLE night:)
Your best bet, as a consumer in the financial crisis we face as Americans, is to simply pick another club worth the cash or just stay at home.
- Pros: Location, Ambience
- Cons: Drink prices, bartenders, servcie, music
Almost perfect
by PretentiousDallas at Citysearch
Very nice place to go with a group, Nice layout and enough room to move without constantly bumping into someone. I moved from Florida a while back, and was well recieved from staff and other patrons. Have been there for Birthday parties and VIP i believe now 5-6 times very nice, as well as just other nights just to go. My friend that took me does know the crowd so I wasn't bothered, and even greeted by the manager/owner and shook my hand as a man (not a flimsy handshake that leaves you wondering if the guy has any respect).
Everything here is almost perfect except for one little door boy and I use the term correctly BOY. He claims to be from vegas(i really could careless where is from, but everytime i have seen him he is drunk. I have been on a friday or saturday night and seen him, and he is drunk everytime, not very good for a greeter put him behind the bar as a barback or better yet he should be fired). Now my girlfriend works there and told me to just tell him I was on the "list" and if he said anything tell me i am here to see her. The little punk had the nerve to tell me she wasnt there and had went to a "hotel" and it would be 20 bucks to get in. I looked at him told him to F off (I should have drilled him but wouldnt put her in that position) so I called her she came up and got me and led me straight in. I havent been back since but of course I will have to since she is there.
What this does tell me as being a former bartender that no matter how great the rest of the staff/managment are, one bad experience can ruin a place especially with your door boy acting like a tool, douche, whatever you want to call it. If I had not been so well recieved by other employees and shown respect by others, I would have been left with a terrible taste. Dont judge this place on this one individual you will be able to tell who he is if you ever attend, however I definatly recommend if your new to the area or actually wanting to talk/meet others.
- Pros: great staff, good prices, good feel, enough space
- Cons: Door boy
