An offshoot of Houston's Treebeards, this informal cafe specializes in Southern home cooking. Daily specials come with an entree and choice of two sides. Selections include chicken fried chicken, stuffed pork chop, and baked catfish dressed in etouffee. Side choices are buttered corn, mustard greens, squash casserole and jalapeno cornbread to name a few. In addition to bread pudding, sweet lovers can satisfy their cravings with buttercake, carrot, yellow, Italian cream or chocolate cake.
