Too Bad. Not really a review....just a hope that no one confuses this with the location in Deep Ellum. Never been to this location, but due to convenience and these reviews...it's probably just as well.

This is just more of a PSA...please , if you are in the Deep Ellum area, don't count...It's A Grind out...for as awful as this one seems to be....the Deep Ellum location is every bit as excellent, and really cool.

Well, what do you expect....it is Frisco..the burbs...land of overcrowding and people not really fighting for their money's worth.

Couldn't beleive what I saw or heard!!. I was in the coffee shop on Friday and I guess the owner was making payment to some service co (the guys were there) and seemed very angry!! He made several racial slurs...idk if the service guys heard him,but he made a remark torwards the hispanic race and african american race. There was alot of tension in the place. Needless to say I will not be going back there. He better be glad those guys had more sense then he did or Im sure someting bad could have happened... Not a pretty sight!

Not open at posted time.. Today seemed to be a popular day for coffee shops to not open at their advertised time. After stopping at anther coffee house which was supposed to be open at 5am and still was not open at 5:37, I headed over to this place. The posted opening time was 6am, and I was a few minutes early so I waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, by 6:17am, I decided they just were not going to open. That cannot be good for business.

Weak drinks and stale food! Bad ratings get removed!. When this place first opened they were good. Since it's near me I used to stop and sometimes go in and use the free WiFi too. They seem to have changed caterers for the food several times. Also, as time progressed the tea got weaker and weaker. I finally quit going (and had written a bad review here that is now gone!)

We stopped by there about two weeks ago to try them again, hoping that they had realized their mistakes and had had tried to return to their former glory. It was a Friday night and the band that was playing was so loud that my friends and I couldn't hear eachother without shouting and the cake was once again stale. The clerk was unsure if there were nuts in any of the cookies! Because some people have food allergies this is important information.

I don't know why we thought they would return to being a nice little coffee shop, but they are still the worst in town. As far as my old rating disappearing, I also notice that the ratings that still appear here are the same ones, so I guess Owners can have bad reviews removed! That seems like a bad rating system to me and makes me wonder about using this site! If city search does indeed remove bad ratings I think they ought to at least have to do a surprise visit to the business in question and verify who's right and who's the owner or owner's friends writing these glowing comments like, "I hear they may cater!" This coffee shop doesn't cook any of the food they sell, so how can they cater?

No one who was with us that night is ever returning. I feel stupid for even giving them another chance. Forget getting a refund for stale food either.

Drive on to another coffee shop and save yourself the hassle.

A Coffe Shop that really cares. Great location, good coffee, free wireless. The crew does a nice job brewing, service is fast, and the shop is well kept. Drive through for early morning pick-up. Rumor that they also cater; I've not tried that service. I've been to a couple of live music events -- nicely done and casual (come-and-go).
