I have been taking Princess, my Bichon Frise to The Petropolitan for grooming since they opened. They are fantastic! I have taken Princess to other groomers in the past who insisted they could do a "Bichon cut", but she never came home looking like one. I also disliked that they kept the animals crated the entire time. I never crate her, so it was very unsettling for both of us. She was always very nervous and timid when I picked her up. I have never had that problem with The Petropolitan. They do an amazing job. My little Princess comes home looking absolutely fantastic and happy. I was so happy the first time I picked her up that I ran home to take pictures. I was truly amazed. Finally, she looked like Bichon Frise! The prices for their services can't be beat, and daycare is free with grooming. They also have a great selection of products for sale. I always leave with a bag full of goodies. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I can't say enough nice things about them. They are truly great people who care for their customers (2 and 4 legged) and it shows. I trust them fully. In my opinion, there is no better place for you and your pet.

I've been all over Dallas trying to find a good groomer for my scruffy little best friend. Today I am doing a happy dance because I found PETROPOLITAN!!!!! This place is truly a godsend...it's BY FAR (understatement) the COOLEST, most positive-vibed place I've experienced in the entire city (I recently moved here from Los Angeles, CA). The groomer did an outstanding job grooming my dog Willie - he listened to my requests & heeded each detail - and in a couple hours my dog looked the best he's EVER LOOKED -- they even bathed him twice and gave him a high-end, surgically-precise coiffe without ANY knicks, abrasions, etc.... the thing I loved the BEST about this place -- the owner CHRIS is suuuuper nice & the entire staff is totally laid-back, fun, cool & sooo knowledgeable & helpful. The dogs get to enjoy FREE PLAY with similar sized dogs before they get groomed -- so it's like getting free dog park time! On the way out the staff gave willie treats. The establishment itself is extremely well appointed in hip design w/Zen-like sensibility ... great happy energy. I'm so excited to find this place ... in a sea of monotonous, lame groomers & dog day care providers in Dallas, Petropolitan OUT SHINES the competition overwhelmingly ... love this place so much!
Pros: Super NICE - outstanding staff! GREAT grooming! Fabulous facility. 4 paws up!
