Keep Drivin'. Petropolitan may have been great in 2009, but for Oct 2010 they're terrible. I took in a Yorkie for a standard clip, and I don't think they even washed her bc she still had eye gobbers. It was right at closing when I picked up, and I did't make her stay to get fixed. Her teddy bear face wasn't nearly even, and her feet were pretty bad too. The place is very loud also. 2 - 3 pens in the front had about 7 dogs each that were going crazy everytime someone came in - yes, I know dogs bark, but a different area would be better than keeping all the dogs in the store front w/the merchandise. For the same price, $50ish, you'd be better off going to any of the places along Oak Lawn for a better cut & environment.…
Good for CATS too!. It's really hard to find a place that grooms cats and is willing to handle the sedation. Petropolitan did a fabulous job with the lion cut, and my cat came back feeling and looking great. I am so grateful for the service they provide.…
LOVE IT!. I have been taking my dog to the Petropolitan for the last 2 years. I couldn't be more pleased with the love and attention they give to my dog. The staff makes an effort to get to know you and your dog. The dogs are seperated by size and temperment and are walked throughout the day. The Petropolitan has a fun Halloween party for dogs and owners that I look forward to every year. This is top quality pet care. Fabulous!…
Best Dog Grooming in Dallas. Thank goodness, I found Petropolitan!!! What an enlightening experience for me and my Newfoundland, Blanche. They are absolute professionals and love the animals that they care for. Blanche is 8 years old and in all her years of grooming has never looked as wonderful as she did when I picked her up from Petropolitan. She looked and had to feel like a show dog with her soft, perfectly coifed hair and she smelled lik a million dollars. Then it came time to pay, and I was astounded at the reasonable rates they charge. Thanks a bunch!!!! Don't forget to tip your groomer; that is a really exhausting job they do to make our kids look great!!!…
Annebelle has never been so happy. I recently moved to Dallas and had several suggestions for daycare and grooming for my little Annebelle. Annebeele has never had fun at the groomer, she's always came back stressed and has never been in daycare. A neighbor told me about the Petropolitan and I went to check them out. Annebelle has only been groomed once since moving here, and it was time for her to get pretty again. I took Annebelle with me, not expecting to leave her anywhere that day. The moment I walked in I realize that there was something different about this place. It was loud, but not a bad loud. All the dogs where playing and having good time. I talked with Sara and felt completely sure that Anneblle would be taken care of. I was asked what time I wanted to pick her up and told them I wanted her as soon as I could since this was a new place. They called me about 3 hours later and told me Annebelle was ready. When I got there, Annebelle looked absolutely wonderful!! NEVER LOOKED BETTER!!! She was happy and played with everyone on her way out to see me. I've never seen her warm up to other people so quickly. Annebelle feel asleep in my lap on the way home. She's been going back to daycare now for over a week and has a wonderful time each day she's there. We are so happy to find the Petropolitan and will tell all Annebelle's friends they need to go there too.…
