Poor service, buffet was organized poorly. We went to Bonnie Ruths (Frisco) this Sunday for brunch.

They supposedly had a champagne mothers day brunch going on. I checked their website before leaving and it mentioned that the Sunday brunch is $14.95 per person. I am not sure if they expected us to know this via ESP. There was no board put up nor did the waiter bother to tell us that unlike their regular Sunday brunch this was $39.95 per head. The food was not spectacular enough to merit such a high charge. The queues at the buffet were extremely long, long enough that you thought about whether it was worth another wait in the line to get seconds. There were supposedly complimentary mimosas included. We were neither given nor informed of this offer. Overall we left the place fairly irritated and will likely not return.

IF YOU WANT RUDE SERVICE THEN THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. Yeah the food is ok and pricey and yeah the atmosphere is great but....The staff leaves alot to be dserired, especially Ashely..She redefines the word rude. I am not sure if she owns the places or if she just thinks that she runs the place. I guess the owner plays by her rules because I voiced my concerns and he was just as rude as she was. So go give them 7.00 for a piece of cake a unpleasant service. The upside is that the pastries are delicious. Great luck if you dare.

Nice place in a nice shopping area. The mussels are great and so is the atmosphere. A bit pricey for dinner with the family however their Sunday brunch was a very good deal and they had the mussels I liked on the buffet.

Excellent service and an incredible expreience!. What a beautiful atmosphere! I just had a wonderful dessert that truly melted in my mouth! Bonnie Ruth's Cafe Trottoir et Patisserie will be the next location for a girlfriend's brunch! Their menu will meet everyone's taste.

If you haven't tried it, you really are missing out.

Now let's see if I can snag some of those cupcakes I brought home for my kids???

Awesome food and dining experience. You will not be disappointed at Bonnie Routh's. My husband and I come here frequently and have never had a bad meal or experience. The wait staff is always professional, quick and knowledgable. the apps are great, especially the soups (signature french onion and tomato are excellent), salads and crostini's. We have tried almost all of the entrees and various "specials (like the scallops)" and always consistent, fresh and delicious. Favorite entrees are the sea bass, steak au poivre and chicken paillard. The wine list is great and VERY reasonable. The desserts are outstanding~ again tried many and all are wonderful. Try the chocolate Kaulua cake, you won't be disappointed with it. Sunday Brunch is awesom, varied menu. Last, the drink list is fun and different, offering famous drinks from the 20's, 30's and 40's. Love the champagne cocktail. Bonnie Routh's is a welcome addition to Frisco. It is worth the drive if you live in surrounding areas, easy to get to from Tollway.

Ready for a very nice evening out?. This was a night to try something new and tonight we found someplace pretty special. Bonnie Ruth's has a very comfortable atmosphere. The service was excellent. Our server (Joe) made us feel right at home. The lighting was soft and the music was a very interesting but not over powering big band style music and French(I think) music. I would never have put the two together, but it blended beautifully. Now the good part! The food was marvelous! My bride had a steak that was tasty and prepare perfectly. I had a delicious dish that incluced pork, chicken and sausage with white beans in a delightfully tasty broth garnished perfectly with greens. Truly a delight to the palate!

We each had a glass of Reisling wine. Very light and tasty.

Then came the deserts. My next trip to Frisco may be just for the deserts! Joe brought out a tray covered with a collection of MADE FRESH DAILY delights that would wreck ANY diet. It was almost too many to choose from so I took the easy way and and ordered the Italian cream cake while my lovely bride ordered pineapple-coconut cake. That's it, I'm bring friends back next week,.... maybe even THIS weekend.

Again, the staff was professional and courteous and very helpful.

My recommendation, come hungry and ready to enjoy yourselves. Remember, special dining comes with a little bit of a price but this is well worth it.

Nicely done. Nicely done.

France in Frisco. Bonnie Ruth's is a little bit of France in Frisco. On a recent visit, we had succulent , not chewy, mussels, garlicky, cinnamony escargot , a pear and walnut salad and rich, spicy cassolette, followed by a flawless, silky creme brulee. I had given up on creme brulees, because too many of them have the consistency of vanilla pudding. Not this one! Silky, smooth, vanilla-bean flavored, with a nicely crunchy crust. Delicious. The French bread complements the mussels and main courses. The bill? So reasonable, we asked if a mistake had been made! We'll be returning again and again and again.

Best martini's in Frisch. great food and atmosphere, service has always been outstanding. We were disappointed to see the $ 3 martinis raise to $5.use to go more often when they were$3. .after Josephine's next door restaurant closed they lost their competition they raised martini's to $5. Bad move, won't go as often now. Sorry to see that!

Fabulous local place to eat!. I read the other review and I had to speak up. I've been to Bonnie Ruth's, 20+ times. The wine and martini's are very good, especially the dirty or lemon drops. The appetizers are great, like thier pizza, and sample platter. Thier mussels are excellent, along with lunch salads, chicken salad and soup all fabulous. It's great for dinner for two, a lunch out on the patio and I've even taken my kids there, 12 and older. They found several great dishes to eat as well. If you want great food, a clean place to eat with tons of charm, excellent service, then Bonnie Ruth's is the place to go. A wonderful Frisco restaurant with reasonable pricings.
