Whether you're just dropping in to grab a quick bite before work, or sitting down for a huge "home cooked" mid-day meal, the folks at Kim's Kafe make you feel like your right at home. Each plate's served with a familiar slice of Texas flavor... and followed with a bright smile from Kim herself, who smartly reigns over the place with a big sense of humor and an even bigger heart.

Best lunch in dallas. kims has got the lunch market cornered in deep ellum, catering to a wide variety of patrons from blue collar to corporate work forces. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the food is in a league of its own. i highly suggest the chicken fried chicken but even if your in the mood for a light salad the waitresses personality and hospitality will make you feel right at home. Best Chicken Fried Steak. Wow All I can say is wow this place was not what I expected at all the food was great the service was fast and to the point better than that the portions were huge. Eating and shopping in Deep Elum has been a pain in the past and this place has exceeded my expectations its a must for this good ol home cooking lover

really, really bad. avoid this place like if it were the plague. It is dirty, crummy, stinks inside, and the service just bad.
