Our family would like to share our wonderful experiences at Primrose Of Castle Hills with all potential family's out there looking for top notch accredited childcare. Not only does Primrose of Castle Hills have amazing teachers, assistants and understanding staff, they truly care about your individual child and family. Our son attended Primrose of Castle Hills from ages 1-6 where he just graduated from Kindergarten. I can not brag enough on his Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Whitt, assistant teacher Ms. Nugyen and their assistants. We are so proud of our son's academic accomplishment and how prepared he is entering the 1st grade because of the wonderful foundation Primrose of Castle Hills has given him. We have enjoyed being at Primrose of Castle Hills so much so that we now have our younger child age 2 attending as well. As a parent you always want to ensure you are making the right decisions for your children. Our family knows we made the best choice when selecting Primrose of Castle Hills for our children.
My daughter has been attending Primrose of Castle Hills for a litle over a year now (she is now 3 1/2 yrs old.) She absolutely loves it and is learning so much! It has made my first entry back into the workforce a very smooth transition! The staff is so friendly and caring. I feel like they are family! :)
Happy @ Primrose School of CH – Iam really really proud that mykid is a part of Primrose of CastleHills .She has been going to primrose for about 2 years now and I never had any regrets ...they are very caring , professional,systematic..Above all they communicate everything to the parents so well ...I look for any activity at school , I would have had an email from the primrose about it in my Inbox already .....I could write a ton about this school :)).. We will miss this school so much after the kindergarten .....Kudos to the team of primrose of castle hills
Prirose School Of Castle Hills - 5 Stars - Recommended – I have had an exceptional experience with 3 children at Primrose, Castle Hills.
The environment is wonderful, friendly, and always clean with a well developed and successful learning curriculum.
The my youngest child remains part of the program, having been enrolled as an infant and one of Primrose's successful kindergarten students. The kindergarten program is private, but well worth the investment.
The entire staff, from the Director on down, are friendly, caring and compassionate. The staff do a great job informing parents of events and planned activities.
Perhaps the best and most recent example of why Primrose is so good comes from my son. It is not uncommon for my son to ask if he can go to Primorose today. He likes being there and he has forged friendships and bonds with other students that have enriched his childhood in a secure, safe and well grounded program.
I have always been impressed with the community focus exhibited by Primrose too. Through Primose, the children better understand what it means to care about others, giving them a terrific foundation for social skills. This Castle Hills Primrose is owned and managed by the Chows, who are and remain actively involved in the school and our community. 5 Stars!!!
We made a great decision – My son started Primrose Castle Hills when he was 2 years old. He is now in 1st grade and still goes to Primrose for their Explorer's Club after school program.
I have been extremely satisfied year after year with their teachers and staff. I have never had any worries while my son was in their care.
In addition, not only has my son excelled in Public Schools (including being 1 of 2 Kindergarteners that was accepted into the LEAP program) but he also had a really easy transition into Kindergarten since he had been used to "learning" since he was two.
I also like the way that Primrose Castle Hills has indirectly fostered a sense of community amongst us parents including our kids playing on the same sports teams etc.
5 stars for this particular Primrose location!
Happy at Primrose CH! – We have two boys (5? and 2?) at Primrose of Castle Hills who have both attended since they were infants. The older just graduated from the Private Kindergarten class, and the younger is in the Preschool 1 class.
Our younger son has had many of the same teachers as his brother, and I feel they have all really gotten to know us as well as our kids. Each class has had a good balance of` nurturing and educational care.
Mrs. Braun is an incredibly compassionate director who genuinely cares for each child and family in the school. She regularly shares stories of impressive or funny things she has seen our boys doing throughout the day.
The staff often emails me photos of my boys enjoying the day?s activities. It definitely makes the work day away from them easier.
The Private Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Whitt, gives individual attention to each child, assessing their needs academically and socially. She works well with kids that excel easily and those that need extra help, without ignoring the ones in the middle.
We have been really pleased with Primrose of Castle Hills, and our boys are very happy there.
5 1/2 Years and Counting! – Our 6 year-old son has been at Primrose of Castle Hills since he was one. He's always been a bright and gregarious child (but doesn't every parent think that about their kiddo?) - but the wonderful staff at Primrose validated us, which we appreciated. They didn't try to stifle our son by making him conform to a "one size fits all" curriculum. Instead, his teachers gave him extra tasks and assignments because they were insightful enough to realize that his high energy may be due to a lack of being challenged. His kindergarten teacher - Mrs. Whitt - was wonderful. She encouraged us to test our son once he entered public school. So we did and just heard he was accepted into the Gifted Program. My husband and I believe it's 2% due to our genes, and 98% due to the nurturing and education he received at Primrose of Castle Hills.
Best of the Best!! Worth every dollar! – I can not begin to tell you how much my wife and I love Primrose Castle Hills. When we had our son in Feb of 2010 we visited 5 schools before Primrose. From the moment we set foot in the door everything just felt perfect. Every teacher that has cared for our son has been truely amazing. He has learned so much and each one cares for him as if he were their own.
We moved to Frisco recently and tried to get our son into the Frisco Primrose location, but it had a 6 month waiting list. So, with the drive being so far we choose to enroll him at Kids R Kids. Wow what a BIG mistake. At first the facility and ameneties look great, but the quality of care was terrible. That only lasted 3 days. There were 2 teachers to 14 kids. I don't know of 2 people anywhere that can give 14 kids attention...let alone teach, change, feed ... etc. My wife and I immediately called Jennifer Braun at Primrose Castle Hills to see if we could bring our son back to school. Within 30 minutes they had arranged to have him back. We now drive 30 minutes to take him to school. That's how much we love this place. Our son could not be happier. So if you are looking for a school for your child I highly recommend Primrose Castle Hills. They will exceed your expectations.
Apart of the Primrose family since 2003 – I visited 8 places before deciding to choose Primrose. I had toured several others and I just kept making my way back to Primrose (touring around 5 times).
We now have 3 children at Primrose Castle Hills (18 months, 4 and 8). I have several stories to tell, but will say that their teachers are genuine and the office staff always keeps me informed.
Each child had the same teacher throughout each room thus far. My 4 year old currently has the same teacher my 8 year old had. The teachers in each class really take the time to get to know me and my expectations. Afterall, my children are there for many hours each week. I never doubt if we are on the same page or not.
I love the fact that no matter how small an issue is, I get a phone call and feel apart of decision making for my kids, since I am their Mom.
Primrose has always been there when needed.
When I had my third baby, our second son went through a really rough time. He did not want to go to school and the teachers could see how hard this was for us. He would kick and scream and wouldn't even get dressed for school. Mrs. Braun took it upon herself to jump in and help with a special treat for each day he came to school. This lasted for three weeks, and he started getting excited again and looking forward to seeing Mrs. Braun!
I can count on the fact that my daughter will get the attention she needs with her medicine and breathing treatments. Mrs. Mccarrell is even sweet enough to tell me the little stories that occur when she is in the office for her daily breathing treatment.
My oldest son has excellent homework habits and I contribute that to Primrose. He has been there since he was 6 months old and I truly believe he does so well in school because Primrose helped prepare him.
Basically, if you are looking for a school that cares about the kids and the parents, you will be happy with Primrose Castle Hills. Yes, it's more expensive. BUT, like my Mom said to me eight years ago, "How can you put a price on childcare".
It's more than childcare for us. It's a partnership of raising our children, our future.
Worth the extra money – We couldn't be happier with the care and education our daughter has been receiving. We've been here for almost three years. Our daughter is excited to go to school in the morning. I have "dropped by" on several occasions, and she is always well-looked after, engaged, and learning. The teachers there truly care about the students and work to partner wil the parents regarding the children's education and discipline. I have been very impressed with how much my child has learned ( a four-year old who can count to 20 in Spanish, 100 in English, name the planets, and sound out words). The staff is courteous & helpful.
One episode that really impressed me & led me to enroll occured on a Saturday at a local children's playsite. The director, Mrs. Braun, interacted with an obnoxious teenage employee with grace & professionalism, despite being "off-the-clock" and away from the school. She sets the tone for the school for how to communicate with children & families.
Yes, this preschool is expensive (supply fees three times per year in addition to tuition), but the better teacher/student ratios & care provided is worth it. After all, my children are more valuable to me than anything else in the world.
