I was a first time customer and was excited to try cupcakes from this place! I went in and the girls behind the counter were friendly and helpful when I asked about the flavors and the store. Everything was very clean and inviting. It smelled wonderful. I ordered 6 cupcakes and very pleasantly surprised because I had read some reviews on here about it and some made it sound just terrible. But it wasn't bad at all. The cupcakes were delicious, the chocolate really had a strong sense of cocoa in it, instead of the normal ones you get that have all that artificial flavoring in it. Red velvet was just amazing and the strawberry was incredible! They have a special right now of Key Lime and it was a great taste of key lime and very fresh tasting. I think that you can taste the difference in the cupcakes from Sprinkles and those from other bakeries that keep their cupcakes in the fridge over night. After reading some of the reviews again I think that some people are very bitter towards Sprinkles and those people need to calm down. It was a great experience and great cupcakes. On a side note, I asked about the owners after having read the last review and they are from oklahoma - but moved to beverly hills and had nothing to do with cupcakes until one day the wife said she wanted to open up a cupcake shop. They seem like wonderful people from what the girl at the register told me and I think that this place should be tried by all!
Pros: delicious cupcakes, friendly service, all around a great experience!
Cons: a little pricey, but so worth it... especially if you go to Starbucks, they are similar in pricing

First, let me say I can't believe I waited in line with all the Stepford Wives of Dallas just to eat a dry and completely uninteresting cupcake. The chocolate was ridiculously dry and if I didn't have to deal with an unfriendly airhead girl at the cash register, I would have asked for my money back. And what's the deal with those disgusting circles on the top of the cupcake? The first clue that I shouldn't have put them in my mouth was when I saw a trail of them outside of their store. I'm not even sure if this stuff was food or not. I'm sure I have their disgusting fondants sitting in my stomach for the next three years slowly being broken down over time by my body. I just can't believe people are waiting in line for this garbage -- and it just goes to show you how unsophisticated the pubic truly is that they can read about this junk in a tabloid and then get in line to pay money for it. I've been reading a lot of blogs today about Sprinkles and it seems the bloom is long gone from this rose. And now I've heard rumors and stories about how awful the owners are, who I heard are from Oklahoma and not Beverly Hills! What's up with that? That says a lot about these people that they have to pretend they're upscale high-class people from Beverly Hills and they're nothing but a couple of hicks trying to be cool. It's actually pretty funny. And now I just added money to their pocket which isn't so funny. Never again. Too many good bakeries in Dallas to fall for this dog and pony show. There's a reason Oprah dropped them from her "favorite things" list and there's a reason their cupcake mix isn't selling at Williams-Sonoma. The reason is because Sprinkles cupcakes simply aren't good.
Pros: The temperature in the place was nice and cool
Cons: Terrible cupcakes, unfriendly service, owners are fake
