Working out is better than sitting in traffic!
by purespaandsalon
i work out at pulse either before or right after work. it sure beats sitting in traffic on 75! there are classes that i take right at 5:15 or 5:30 (some later too if i get stuck at work late) and i can get in, get my workout in, miss the traffic and be home at pretty much the same time as if i had headed home straight from work. the locker rooms are immaculate so showering and getting ready there works for me too -- there are even some morning classes that i've taken. i really enjoy working out at pulse and highly recommend it to you! i tried a free week pass before i joined so you can try that too.
- Pros: love the class times - they're so convenient, love the locker room, love the location
Something for everyone

This place is amazing. From the moment you walk in, you can see it is heads above the rest. The free Wi-FI on their PC?s ( or yours) that are placed around the gym and the free towel service caught my attention first. Then I saw the INDIVIDUAL screens on each cardio machine so I can watch the show I want anytime while working out without having to vote with 5 others for the screen above us. The free weights and machine room is SERIOUS and so are the trainers. The classes are abundant and the rooms huge for classes! The thing that I found most unique was as I was leaving I ran into one of my G-Friends that is pregnant and she was doing a pre natal workout with a trainer. Clearly something for everyone! Wow! Print out the coupon and try it for free. VERY cool and a MUST try!
- Pros: Something for everyone!!!!!
- Cons: None. They have other locations under other names, so ask.
awesome gym, great vibe

i work out at trophy fitness and decided to check out the new sister property called pulse since its downtown where i work. it's amazing! its really big and spacious but has a small gym feel that i like. all the equipment is cutting edge with personal tvs and a super nice locker room. there are lots of classes -- even some during the lunch hour during the week which i really like. the people that work there are so nice and friendly and make me feel right at home. they also helped me figure out how to use some of those new machines. i highly recommend this gym especially over the others in the area which are more expensive and not nearly as nice.
- Pros: great price, great staff, great facility
- Cons: none
