Poor Customer Relations. I had BFP install a my kitchen faucet. The tech was very punctual and got the faucet in very quickly. He took away the old faucet with the box that the new faucet came in. Two days later the faucet started to leak. I called them to come back. The tech seemed irritated that he had to return to our house. In three seconds he determined that the faucet was defective and that he would charge us full price to install another. I called the owner and asked if he would meet me half way on the installation of another. I am not a plumber still I wonder why the tech couldn't determine that the faucet was bad when he installed it. He took away the box that the faucet came in so I could not return the faucet. The owner would not sympathize and was completely unwilling to compromise. Maybe they concentrate so much on being on time that their quality and customer service suffers.
Great service. I had a drainage issue, couldnt use mt kitchen at all.I had 2 plumbers out for 2 days, useless. And noway would I ever call Hutchins again, they will rip you a new 1.They even charge 125$ if they have to climb on your roof for no reason.Benjamin Franklin came when they said, fixed it for what they quoted me.Not cheap but good service rarely is.
See my review for Spencer Plumbing--these are the same people.
Broke my bidet and refuse to replace it. They acknowledge responsibility--they refunded their fee! But claim they cannot find a black bidet--I have no problem finding them, and I'm not even a plumber!
Lied about their "unique" "green" drain unclogger--it has been on the market for years at a much lower price, available in health food and department stores.
Pretty expensive.
Job was done so poorly that the next week when I went to clean the bidet, the water backed right up again. We hadn't used it. Nothing else was clogged. Just the bidet.
Try to get them to follow up on their agreement to replace it and the little sweetie in customer service ("Mindy") shrieks at me and accuses me of using improper language. Rude.
On the positive side, they are very pleasant when setting up your appointment, they were unable to tell when the plumber was coming but OK, and they were pleasant taking our money. Not that we had a choice. Very happy to refund the money ($250) instead of replacing the bidet the plumber broke when "fixing" it (it cost $550--black one, found on multiple sites on the internet).
