Me and my date we are both Hispanic Latinos had a great time at some other bars in downtown Dallas but not at Ivy lounge...bouncers there are races....because when we (LATINOS ORDER MARTINIS OR ANY OTHER MIXED DRINKS @ THE ROOF FLOOR they served them in plastic cups because then people will be dropping them down the street....one bouncer there at the roof told us they were only serving mixed drinks in glass at the other two floors downstairs...we understand that...but I was like Whatever I being here before and they do serve drinks in glass cups here at the roof no matter what floor).... so when we went to one of the other floors downstairs which was the second floor the bouncer told us the same thing they told us.....up stairs at the roof....am never going back to IVY LOUNGE.....I use to go often there and had a good time with my friends bought a lot of drinks even if they were expensive.....the only differences between going out with a group of girl-friends and a date.....(HISPANIC LATINO) they served drinks in plastic cups rather than in glass cups....that’s boohoo CRAP...that was the first time I received bad service at a bar when am on a date.....and that’s only at IVY LOUNGE...so this goes for my LATINAS WHEN YOU GO THERE AT IVY LOUNGE OUT ON A DATE AND THEY SEE YOU ARE MEXICAN THEY WILL SERVE YOUR DRINK IN A PLASTIC CUP!!!!

So I was at Ivy Lounge this past weekend celebrating my birthday, and I must say...the whole trip was worth just the one night we spent there. It didn't start off so well though. My and my group showed up around 10:15 and there was about 5 people there. Literally. We soon found out that the place had just opened at 10 o'clock so we decided to stay and see if it would get any better. Needless to say...it got better. The rooftop is amazing. I don't think we left there until it was about time to leave. It's a gorgeous bar. Beautiful women. Strong drinks. The only thing that could have made it better would be cheaper drinks. It was $5 for domestics!! So I definitely recommend pre gaming(drinkin your own alcohol) before showing up to this place. I will, without a doubt, go here every single time I visit Dallas.
