Don't sign any papers/contracts with
them and don't provide your credit card. If you do, they will hit you with all kinds of charges.
There is no easy way to cancel your membership. You can't walk in and cancel it. They make you do it through the website, which is full of disclaimers allowing POW to charge you all kinds of penalties. Trust me, this ended up being the most expensive gym I've ever used. It's a total scam as far as the membership and monthly payments. Plus, you can never talk to anyone on the phone. There are simply "no humans" answering phones. You have to leave messages and they call you whenever they get around.
Don't sign long term contract with
them. I signed one over 3 years ago because I was told they were putting a location in Denton where I live. Once they didn't I have tried to get out of the contract and the refuse. I have been paying these people a monthly freeze fee for 3 1/2 years for nothing and they still won't waive the contract. They only care about getting your money and locking you in not honoring what their sales people said.
Quick workout ...but beware before you sign anything!.
Bought a Groupon and was convinced to sign up for the "150" program. If I had been given time to review contract, I never would have signed on. Ask for 24 hours before you sign anything and see if you still get a the same deal. I was told that I had to sign on immediately or the "deal" (in addition to the Groupon) I was being sold would expire.
