BEWARE!!!!!

This place is a joke!!!!! my sister and i went there today for the first time after getting a deal on groupon. the deal said we could either print out the coupon or they could scan it electronically. when we got there the guys at the front counter said we have to have the printed version. i informed him the deal said we could us the electronic version or the printed. he then got the owner (bald with a long goatee with tattoos on his arms)...who prior to meeting him was an a**. he was walking around on the phone, when one of his employees called out his name and he yelled, "don't you see i'm on the phone!!!!" after getting off the phone he approached us and informed us he would not accept the electronic copy and we would have to go print out the paper version somewhere then he would honor the groupon, if we didn't want to print it out then he would charges us $10.00 (cash) ea and we could use the groupon at another time. we informed him, we got the groupon to see if we would like it and asked what if we didn't like it, he said, "that was our problem not his". i informed him the deal did not state that. i informed him i lived 20 miles away and asked him if we could email the groupon to him, he said, "no" my printer is not working and i need the paper copy, 20 mins is no big deal, i live a hour and a half away". if i decided to go home and print the coupon, i would have wasted 60 minutes just driving back and fourth...what an idiot!!!!!
then the starting saying this was my fault and i was the first to ever complain about not being able to accept the electronic version and i had bad attitude because i didn't have the printed version....this place is the most unprofessional and unethical place i've have ever came across...my theory is if i owned a business and was using groupon to advertise my business to get people in the door...don't run your business half a** and do what you can to make the first impression a great experience, so we will keep coming and tell our friends to come...word of advise: these people are scam artist and try to do things half a** to get your money with poor customer services"
Russian Banya Best Way Ever to Spend a Day
by ricklmf at Citysearch
The Russian Bana is one of the best ways I can think of to spend a day with friends. I have been there twice now with small groups and had a great experience. You will learn quickly that the owner, Tony, and staff will teach you what you need to know to get the most out of the Banya experience. The facility is homey and it seems the goal of the place and staff is to make you feel part of it.
After a few rounds of the Russian sauna, and a dip or two in the cold pool, you feel incredible. Staff are quick to bring iced water to you after each round, you can sit on the patio and take a break, and best of all, there is no rush. You can stay as long as you like, no pressure, just relaxation. Perhaps the best part is after getting totally relaxed, you can order some of the heartiest and best tasting authentic Russian food ever. I recommend you head out as soon as possible, get to the Bana, and take advantage of this incredible cultural experience.
THE BANYA ROCKS!

I went to the Banya for their New Year's Eve Party and was not sure what to expect. After all, I'm an Irish Catholic and wasn't sure I'd fit in. However, I had the absolute time of my life. The Banya is unlike any place I've ever been before, fit with a spacious dining room, a lounge area with a pool table and state-of-the-art spa/sauna facilities. I'm no expert on the matter, but I'd say this place is as good as it gets if you're looking for a good steam; and after relaxing in their variety of spas (Turkish, Finnish, Russian), you can head over to the dining room for a wonderful selection of traditional Russian cuisine. Those that work there absolutely know what they're doing, and were very accommodating for someone like me who was way out of his element. I've moved to Philadelphia since attending the Banya, but I'd absolutely consider flying down in December to attend their New Years Eve bash again...truly legendary! It's a place that people of all cultures can enjoy, and it opened my eyes to a new group of people and their customs, which I think was my favorite part about going there.
Bravo, BANYA, bravo!
Very disappointing!

What a disappointment! I went last Saturday for the first time and I'm sure it will be my last. I'm glad I had a coupon and only paid $10.00 instead of the $25 that they normally charge.
I must clarify that I'm reviewing the sauna and not the restaurant. They advertise 17,000 sq. feet of space and don't really show it. They only had 2 of the saunas working, the 3rd one was shut down for repairs. The place was in poor conditions, dirty, broken chairs, etc. The bathrobe and flip-flops are shabby and they gave me just one towel. The showers had the shampoo dispensers broken or empty in some cases. The cleaning guy walked by while I was showering, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place for a real sauna/spa experience.
LOVED this restaurant

The Russian Banya is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. I attended their New Years bash, which had excellent food and amazing entertainment. A wide variety of authentic Russian food was placed before us while beautiful singing and dancing were performed.
The staff is extremely nice and hospitable. They will go out of their way to assist you with any need. As someone with a restricted diet, it is exceedingly difficult to find restaurants that are willing to cater to my needs. The Banya, however, made a great effort to ensure I was able to get a good meal. Even more importantly, they did it happily and were remarkably kind.
The building itself is gorgeous. As soon as you walk in, you become immersed in a handsome traditional Russian atmosphere. Every detail was put together so flawlessly, that it really creates a soothing experience. I love the Banya because it provides an ambiance that is an impressive blend of authentic Russian and homey welcoming, which allows for a unique and relaxing experience. The Russian Banya is an exceptional oasis from the rush of Dallas, where you can unwind and enjoy amazing food. I definitely plan on returning, and will recommend it to all my friends and family.
