I went to ecare a few weeks ago, I fell and hurt my ankle. The staff were very nice, the X-ray tech, dawn, was excellent, she was so sweet and you can tell she genuinely cares, the doctor was also very nice. I don't know why the others gave poor reviews, the lady at the front desk explains that they are an emergency center and tells you what your copay is and you have the choice to be seen or not.

copay sadness. Care is good, not great. been going there for 10 years, and no one said anything about the five fold increase in copays, from urgent care to emergency. They charged my insurance $1200 for a visit/throat swab for sore throat!! My copay was 150, so I might as well have gone to the real ER at Mckinney Hospital for my sore throat. so silly!

Emergency Room sized copays now?. I've been a patient for at least the last four years. They've provided good, consistent care to me and my family. Now I find out that they charge you an Emergency Room copay ($250 through my insurance) instead of the Urgent Care copay ($75 - up from $50 last year). Seems they are now a registered emergency room. So if you just need urgent care from a doc-in-the-box, it costs you around $250 a visit. What are they thinking? Do they only want only life threatening cases now? Or are they getting greedy? Or is the greed of profit-driven healthcare industry squeezing them, too, and then of course, all of us. If so, it's time for Medicare For All - we all pitch in with taxes anyway. Remember, most bankruptcies are due to medical bills, with insurance. So long, E-care.

Beware!!!. After my recent visit to E-Care I would not recommend them to anyone.

I was seen by Dr. Lewis. He asked me a few questions like he was reading from a check and that was about the extent of the visit. He never really addressed the problem I was having.

He then gave me a prescription for a medication which I cannot take and could be very harmful if not life threatening. It was fully noted in my chart that I could not take this type of med and I was wearing a warning bracelet.

I will say the rest of the staff was very polite and helpful but needless to say I will not be returning to this clinic.

Excellent Care. I received very good care at this facility. The nurses were friendly, and Dr Rankins was thorough, caring, and followed through with my treatment.

I would definitely recommend it!

Horrible Bedside Manner. The nurse practitioner who treated me was terribly rude. I will never go there again and would not recommend this facility to anybody.
