- Interstate 75 central Expressway to Mockingbird. Go East on Mockingbird. Take a Right on McMillan, which is South. Go through the neighborhood about 5 miles and look for Sears street on the left. Take a Left on Sears street, go through 3 streets and you will then see the backside of The Girls Room Building. It is a 2 story White Brick Building on the corner of Sears and Greenville Avenue. To your left is the Garden Center (look for the white tent), park there or park in the back of The Girls Room facing the alley way or Valet at Teppo sushi bar. Go aroudn the front of the building and Look for the RED door between Pipedream and Greeenville Avenue Pizza Company with 1921 1/2 in RED over the top of it.

ParkingPark at the Garden Center on the Southwest corner of Sears and Greenville. You can also valet park at Teppo Sushi bar across the street from The Girls Room's front door. Also, Char Bar will let you park behind their Restaurant. There is also parking in front of the building.

I took the Burlesque workshop at the Girls' Room and I loved it. The teacher is the choreographer from the Velvet Kittens and she not only teaches you dances, but she also teaches you about make-up, costuming and everything. The dance we learned was so much fun, and I went to see one of the Velvet Kittens shows and they performed the same dance,which was fun for me. I am so happy with my experience. There is no other class like this around, I totally reccommend it! I loved the class, loved the teacher, loved everything! I hope that I can come back for another workshop soon, this time I'm bringing friends.
Pros: Awesome dance class that you can't find anywhere else
Cons: The next workshop taught the same dance, so I couldn't come back

Burlesque class is exotic & unique. Instructor has extensive experience with dance, makeup, style and unique routines. Yoga instructor is very explanatory and helpful. Owner of the "Girl Room" is very friendly and encourages all ladies to get involved with the various classes. I have attended many dance classes but the "Girls Room" is somewhat pricy. But if you are not on a budget. I do recommended.
Pros: Great stress relief plus excellent workout for toning
Cons: A little pricy
