Very Very Dissapointing. We had been told this was a good place to dine and most dishes were well prepared. We ere seated quickly and ordered quickly as well. They opened our wine (byob) and we started with a farm salad (good) and escargot (also good). The entrees arrived and my wife enjoyed her seabass although it was a minute or two too long in the oven. It is her favorite and she has had it coast to coast many mnay times. She said it was OK. My 16 oz. ribeye was cooked perfectly but was grainy, no juiciness and little flavor. I had 3 bites and sent it back. They wanted me to order something else but by that time I was dissapointed and we turned to dessert. It was a wonderful bread pudding.

Here's where the problem began. The chef's wife brought the bill and said they had comped the dessert and the wife's coffee. The steak ($34) was still on the bill!!! Never have I had this happen. Heck Red lobster would take it off! The chef then came out and I explained again the problem with the meat. It must have been his supplier. This was not prime nor even choice. I have had a few steaks in my 50+ years. Well he got his frenchies in a wad and stormed off. I said fine bring me the check. Then I felt badly for my waiter and called him over to explain the tip. I was going to leave nothing but it was not his fault the owners know nothing about taking care of the customer. I told him I was leaving $10 and about that time the wife of the chef rushed over to hear what was going on and said "I hope you are happy and will come back". Really? Really? No we won't and we WILL tell all our friends including those that recommended this place.

OK food, well prepared and no sense of accommodation here. Save your money! Go elsewhere!

Really Bad Form.... I flew in from Seattle, WA and our itinerary (that I received over two months ago) was set to have my Grandparents 65th Anniversary / Family Reunion at Gregory's. The owners wife called my aunt the day before and canceled on us.

To treat a group of customers that booked a family reunion with such lack of respect is not how to run a business!

Instead of spending my first day with my family I have not seen in 3 years, we all had to scramble to find another location to hold our dinner plans.

No wonder it closed the fist time!

never, ever book this place !!!!! as of 4/29/2011. My wife has worked with this place since before Christmas to arrange a family reunion dinner at 5PM on Saturday, to make it easy on the restaurant. This included numerous phone calls, leaving messages, to confirm the reservation. Today we received a call they had booked other groups and we would not be served. The sudden lack of a reservation is bad enough, but the arrogant manner in which the owner's wife approached my wife frankly p_____ me off. This place does not deserve your patronage.

Do not ever go to Gregory's in McKinney. My sister booked a dinner for our family to celebrate our parents' 65th Wedding Anniversary over four months ago. After many conversations and changing the time to as early as 5:00 p.m. to accommodate the restaurant, we received a phone call a day before saying our reservation was given away. My family flew in from as far as Seattle, Washington to celebrate this special day and to attend this dinner. To say the least this was very unprofessional and RUDE!!!! Please do not patronize this restaurant!!!!!

New name. This is one of my favorite places! I thought it was still closed ( the website says it is) but just found out from friends there is a new website and its re-opened with all my old favorites! Yes, for you fellow fans, I'm talking about the sea bass. Chef Gregory is still in the kitchen! It is BYOB but theres a little wine shop just close to Gregory's so it's easy. Old number is disconnected, too. its now
