New restaurant delivers!. I recently came across this restaurant when out scouting a place to hold an upcoming client dinner. I had planned on going to an upscale restaurant further north but realized it was going to be too far away for clients to drive. My friends dining with me suggested Rose Tattoo Grill because they had driven by it many times. Had no expectations and had not reviewed it online previously. We went on a Thursday evening and was pleasently surprised by the decor and feel of the dining room. We were one of 3 tables in the whole dining room but I am hoping that will begin to change as they have only been open 7 weeks. We had delicious cheese plates (English Cheddar and Guiness was fantastic!) and spinach artichoke dip for appetizers. The salsa seemed to be Pace picante but the actual dip was delicious. We had 3 different entrees so we could try a little of everything. The chicken breast entree was the best I've had in a long time. Coupled with mashed and gravy and mixed vegetables....superb! My friend had the pork loin and corn/green chile risotto which was okay. The flat iron steak also scored high on the list as a favorite. However the dessert option was the best thing of the evening. The white chocolate bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream was heavenly. I am definitely going to bring my clients to this restaurant and I hope this place makes it as Richardson really needs to have a really good and affordable option in this area. Overall great food and reasonably priced.
