So good it ought to be illegal!

The first thing that strikes you when you get through the doors is how wonderful the owners and staff are ... everybody is smiling, they are as friendly as can be and quick to a warm "Texas" welcome!

Then comes the popcorn ... OY! Dozens upon dozens to choose from ... some who's flavors may intimidate you at first (wasabi with what?), but then you taste them and WOW they are good. Samples abound! Our friends visiting from out of town bought up a several cans to take home!

I do not know if they always have 'em, but if available try the blends. I got the blend of sweet flavors (a mix of all the 'leftovers'? ;-), and got the 'samples' treatment for weeks on end : Yes ... I was a good boy and limited myself to a handful at a time ... which is still OK given how rich and tasty the flavoring is. Visiting Frisco square without dropping in on LP&P is just plain silly!

• Pros: Awesome flavors, very 'rich' sweets; friendly staff
• Cons: so many flavors, too little time!

Such a cute store!!

This is such a cute store. I love to support locally owened businesses. I took my husband and son based on a great review from my sister. We were new, so we had no idea what we wanted. You can sample any popcorn on the menu you choose. Each sample has abot 5 or 6 kernals which is plenty to tell if you like it. I think we ended up getting 6 samples. Each one was better than the first. It was so hard to choose. I felt a little bad about taking up their time asking for another sample, but they made us feel welcome. We got 3 medium bags- white cheddar, sour cream and onion, and New York Cheesecake. Now we'll have to go back and try some more flavors :)

great novelty shop

What a great shop! As soon as you walk in this bright cheery popcorn and candy gift shop welcomes you with the sweet smell of flavors of popcorn. They have baskets of candy, special occasion offerings and a fantastic and very helpful staff. If you are looking for a unique valentine day gift, give them a call, it is privatly owned locally here in Frisco and they are VERY nice! It's located just inside the square in Frisco Square and has plenty of parking behind the shop or free valet

• Pros: Unique gift shop and great gourmet popcorn AND affordable!
