Best Cakes in Texas. So, I have actually had the pleasure of trying out all 3 Cupcakeries, and this one was just as wonderful as the others in Vegas. The Southern Belle is the same as Vegas. Its my favorite and I can tell you its the owners grandmas recipe. I'm kind of obsessed with Pamela, the co owner, so I probably know a little more about this place than I should. I was lucky enough to run into her in Texas a couple weeks ago in Texas, and I also met her partner(Uncle Ricky) as well. They were super nice and obviously a little shocked to see an interstate cupcake customer. I'll admit it, I'm a sweet junkie, and Cupcakery is as good as it gets. and yes I have a not so secret crush on Cupcake Queen, even though she just had a baby. I've been a fan for almost 4 years, and they are as good as day 1. They knock Sprinkles and any other cake place outta the market. For you haters that aren't fans, I suggest you try again. I've never had a bad experience with staff or the product. Go Cupcakery!!! Hope you keep expanding across the country.

Bad cupcakes. The cupcakes are dry, not from scratch. They are made from Dawn cake mix. They are frozen in walk in freezers. The staff is rude and they are all high school students. The owners mom manages the shop. She does not have a clue about baking. She fires people left and right. The cupcakes LOOK very nice. They use alot of glitter. But they taste bad. They taste old. It is located is the upper part of Frisco, where people have money. Too bad they don't know that they are paying $3.00 for a frozen cupcake. They have family in the legal business, so they think that they can do whatever they want. This place is a fraud.

Great selection! Beautiful presentation! Tasty!. I liked the taste of the cupcakes myself! (But, I've never had ones from Sprinkles.) Some of them were almost too rich with all the icing. I got a variety of cupcakes to taste and share with family. I thought there was a great selection. The cupcakes are BEAUTIFUL - almost like a work of art. Hehe. And, the store was cozy and welcoming. The owner was friendly. I would go here again; but after the two reviews below, it looks like I need to try Sprinkles.

SPRINKLES IS BETTER. Frisco needs a SPRINKLES!!! After having tasted the Cupcakery "knockoffs" I think SPRINKLES would put them out of business real quick. The cupcakes here taste just like the ones you can make at home with a box mix. They are not gourmet by any means. The store is kinda small but it is bright and cheerful. However I am just not into the taste of the cupcakes. SPRINKLES IS MY FAVE!!! The cupcakery should have known better than to come to the DALLAS area. They should have tried Ft. Worth instead... more their speed. SPRINKLES HAS DALLAS COVERED!

Pretty But Not Good. I had The Cupcakery cupcakes at my job. One of our clients brought us a dozen. There were all kinds of flavors and they were all really pretty to look at. We cut them up so everyone could have a taste of the flavors. Myself, along with my 6 co-workers were all on the same page. Pretty product, Bland taste. These cupcakes would be good for children's parties. Kids don't care about taste as long as it is a good presentaion. My daughters would like the look and that would be enough for them. I would have to find something else to serve to the adults though. Maybe the bland ones for the kiddies and Sprinkles cupcakes for the adults because I know they taste good. I love Sprinkles cupcakes taste. I wish they would decorate them differently and they would have a homerun. The Cupcakery could have a homerun too if they would work on their taste.
