Awesome and fun workout!. I was definitely shy about trying the pole dancing classes, but they are SO fun! People of all sizes and skill levels are welcomed and the instructors work to boost your confidence! Karyn is amazing and will even explain the reasoning and philosophy behind all of the moves! You can learn (and laugh) together as you workout. You won't even realize you are working out at the time, but you will feel it later! This is an amazing workout and I would recommend it to anyone who is bored with their routine or looking to add some spice to their life! I am looking forward to trying out some of the strip tease workshops, also!

A life changing (and head turning) experience :). This workout is like nothing most people have ever had the chance to experience. Unlike a typical gym routine, aimlessly running on the treadmill, watching something on TV you don't care about and doing boring reps to lean yourself muscles out (all while being around a bunch of guys grunting while weightlifting), this is a workout that is great for mind AND body. After just a few classes I left feeling toned, confident and excited to come back for more classes! The instructors are incredible and accomodate for every shape and size. This place doesn't discriminate against body shape, age, or fitness level. This is what women have needed for such a long time, and what gyms will be jumping on the bandwagon to catch up with!!! I love TGR!

Personal training as well. My boyfriend goes to stayoung fit for his personal trainer and I schedule my pole dancing exercise around his workout so it really is the ideal location for couples that are serious about getting fit and doing it in a different and more targeted way. Fantastic core workout on a pole and my arms are toned and tight

A Workout That Doesn't Feel Like a Workout. If you are interested in a workout that doesn't feel like a workout, check out the Girl's Room. The classes will make you sweat, but time flies when you are having so much fun. This is a great place for any woman, of any size, age, etc. Karyn and her teachers will welcome you and make you feel comfortable, and they will help you progress at your own pace.

two moves that will turn off any Sports program. I have gone to two different classes at the Girls room in Dallas and now the Girls room in Frisco is open as well. They have pole dancing, lap dancing, floor strip tease boot camps and more. I took one of the 6 day boot camps in Frisco for the striptease and there are two moves that will turn off ANY sports on TV ( at least in MY house, ha ha) And I also took a lap dance class for Valentines day and I still have not gotten to complete a full lap dance for my man to date :) true story! So go get your pole on!

Look at reviews on the dallas location for more!. Hello, I attended pole dancing level one twice within one week and the workouts are superb! The atmosphere is fun, diverse and contagious! I absolutely love the students, staff and most of all instructors!! Coincidentally, a stranger recommended Toys' classes from general conversation with a young lady I bumped into at the mall. We begin conversing about Dallas fitness and The Girls Room name was mentioned. WOW!! That's speaks volumes in itself!! She complimented Toy and how wonderful her classes are. So I thought I'd give it a shot. Now I can contest to everything she said!! First of all, pole dancing is truly a workout! I'm STILL sore!! My entire body!! The last 10-15 min of class is a killer!! I can not wait for my body to transform into a powerhouse!! She talked and addressed everyone needs during class, not to mention the class was HUGE! she constantly encouraged us to challenge ourselves even when I wanted to give up!! And she enlighten us on female empowerment, how dominating US women are, and embracing the most vital & essential part of my body - the core! I never, ever would have given pole dancing this type of thought. She changed any negative stereotypes and gave me a different perspective on life in general. I guess she's training two other ladies who want to be instructors too! They did a great job! She allowed them to teach a small segment of the class. I think her name was Tasha, a really cute Persian girl (I believe) At any rate she was very pleasant and took total control! She gave a huge amt of knowledge, "taking" our business away from men, and knowing when you to give a piece of yourself away. This was done all within 10 min of walking! I can't wait to meet the other instructors and take their classes!! I'm on my way to becoming a regular! I'm pretty sure I'll be a member sooner than later!!

The Girls Room is a dance and fitness studio created for women.
