Frisco >Chaucer's Sushi & Grill
Hooters with Japanese food meets Night at the Roxbury.
Bring single dollar bills -- not to pay for the food, but to attach to the servers.
We walked in to the Frisco location expecting -- sushi. After all, it is "Chaucer's Sushi and Grill." Silly assumption. We should have checked the Web site before we went. Then we would have seen the big ad for BIKINI contest. But hey, my 7-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter got an eyeful of scantily clad servers as soon as we got in the door. My wife quickly ushered the kids out.
Silly us. We expected a family-friendly restaurant located in the Stonebriar Mall perimeter -- within walking distance of the mall's kid friendly skating rink, movie theater, Disney store and Lego store.
Won't be back. It's not a restaurant.
CHAUCER'S IN ALLEN.....NEVER AGAIN!!.
The service here SUCKED! We were told not to write on the sushi menu because they didn't have anymore and had to reuse the one we had. It took TEN minutes for anyone to greet us or take our drink order. My dates food came within 15 minutes. My food took 45 minutes. The staff was confused and never came to let us know what was going on. I talked to the manager and was told the wait staff and sushi chef were new. My date waited for my food to come (because he's a gentleman) and by the time my sushi came out his food was cold.
All I got was an apology and was charged for the full meal.I go to Chaucer's in Addison all the time but this new one in Allen has soo much to learn about being professional. Dont make the same mistake we did~eat somewhere else!
