I've been a client at Salon Ana Bella for almost four years.As a customer, I appreciate a balance of warmth and professionalism, and though the receptionists seem to come and go, but I have never experienced anything less. I put alot of trust in my stylist and recommend the salon at every opportunity.

I've been having my color done at this salon, by Boutros the owner, since 2008. Like me, his M.O. is to keep my hair platinum blonde with the least brass and damage possible - and he achieves this beautifully. Boutros both listens AND makes suggestions (a rare mix for hairdressers), and is professional yet personable as is the rest of the staff. The salon itself is at a nice & very accessible location visible from 121, very clean with elegant decor, the rates are reasonable, and there's never been any annoying product-pushing there - therefore it's the only place I buy Aveda products, and this salon is always the first and only one I recommend when people comment on my hair. I see male clients having their hair cut every time I'm in there, too. Definitely worth checking out.

I absolutely love Salon Ana Bella! Nicole does my hair and always does a phenomenal job! I get complimented everywhere I go on my cut and color and am always told how healthy my hair looks! They use all Aveda products and my hair has never looked so good. I will always go to this salon and will not let anybody else do my hair! They are the best!

f I could leave a negative star count I would. My hair color was ruined and I was robbed.

I had a hair color that I loved. After years of trying to find the right shade I fell on light golden brown. My only problem was that my roots were a shade lighter than the rest of my hair. So instead of trying to fix the issue at home I decided it would be best to seek expert service. I explicitly explained that all I wanted was for my roots, about 1/2 inch long, to match the rest of my hair color. I said over and over again that I did not want my over all color darkened at all. If anything I wanted it lighter but I wanted to stay away from highlighting my hair due to the damage. My colorist brought out a swatch that was the same color of my hair. I asked about the lighter shade but was told that that would be too light and wouldn't address the issue I had with my roots. I restated that I did not want my current shade to be any darker.I even brought in pictures so there would be no confusion. The end result was a medium to dark brown hair color with reddish roots. I was mortified. How could this happen after I explained over and over that I did not want to darken my hair. My colorist even commented prior to applying the color that she thought my current shade was good for my skin tone. When I complained the colorist was apologetic but tried ti skirt the blame at the same time, telling me that she couldn't do what I originally asked for. My question was why didn't she tell me that and allow me to make an informed decision. She then asked the manager to speak with me. My options were to either leave it dark or get highlights to lift the color out. At this point I was almost in tears, I was trying to protect my hair from damage. I opted for the highlights because I hated the color. My color was not restored to original light brown, instead I had dark brown with reddish highlights. When I went to leave I was asked to pay $125 and was told that I was getting a "deal" At this point I had been there for 3.5 hours with ruined color plus added damage and I was being treated like they did me a favor. When I asked about the cost and expressed that I thought it was too high and that I was still leaving with the opposite of what I asked for I was threatened by the owner that the police would be called if I did not pay at least $100. He kept saying he was giving me a deal and providing a service.

My Trusted Source for Years. I have been getting my hair done by Joe for almost 7 years now. I have followed him everywhere he has gone. I first went to him when I moved to this area, and I asked around, who does color I can trust? I let Joe have a lot of creative freedom with my hair now, because it always looks so good! I change my color and cut constantly. Joe has built a great salon and is continuing to serve and expand in this area. For those who had recent unsatisfactory experiences, consider giving it another chance, or let Joe know what you experienced so he can make it right. Joe is such a hard worker and such a good person. He also does my daughter's hair, and she waits to come home from school rather than letting someone else do it. I highly recommend Salon Ana Bella and Joe.

Great service, great cut. Joe at Salon Anabella has been doing miracles with my wavy, unruly hair for the last 6 years. Every time I walk out, I feel gorgeous. The style lasts for a long time and even as my hair grows out, I get constant compliments on my great hair. Joe is amazing. His skill and ability to make me look my very best is unbeatable. I've recommended him over and over and will continue to do so.

Great Cut & Color!. Since moving from Dallas to McKinney, I've been searching for an Aveda Salon, and have been very pleased with Salon Ana Bella. I like Aveda because it seems to be more gentle on the hair, and seems to keep hair healthier, than other color brands. Boutros was very generous with the color, and my hair hardly faded at all--a first for me! The cut was done beautifully, and I was very happy with my overall experience!

Great find!. I was delighted to have an acquaintance refer me to Boutros at Salon Ana Bella for color and cut. He was able to accommodate my need for immediate rescue (I'd just had a FRIGHTFUL experience with color at a different salon...bad on so many levels that I was afraid to go back to have them try to "fix" it!). I went in looking a bit like the Bride of Frankenstein and came out with beautiful, shiny hair. The salon has a very clean feel and the shampoo chair was the most comfortable I've ever encountered. Everyone was very nice and attentive the moment I walked in. I highly recommend this great salon! The location is in a strip mall facing US Hwy 121 just West of Custer Road (in the Super Target shopping center). Easy to get in and out, and probably a few shops you need to hit anyway!
