Dallas >Dr. Bell's BBQ
Best BBQ Within 300 Miles. I went to Dr. Bells today and couldn't believe how good the brisket and ribs were. They are right up there with Cooper's, Black's and Smitty's. Fantastic!
Pretty Good. Good barbecue if you need a fix and are downtown. Moist brisket and tasty, uniquely fashioned sides. Love the green beans. Good price on the beer and hefty plate portions of 1/2 and 1/3 lbs.
AVOID AT ALL POSSIBLE CONSEQUENCES.
OVERPRICED. HORRIBLE EXCUSE FOR TEXAS BBQ.
JUST STAY AWAY!!
Landlord understands and looking for new renter!!
Citysearch Editorial Review. A hunka hunka pecan-smoked brisket is what you'll get at this Main Street barbecue joint that pays homage to the King. Downtown dwellers and ‘cue connoisseurs dine with delight as the owner knows how to prepare a hot link and pull some pork. With Rudy's recipes driving classic flavors, the menu offers favorites such as turkey breast and brisket which, like the other meats, can be served on a plate, sandwich or even in soft tacos. Red- and white-checkered table cloths and the paintings of Elvis on steel corrugated walls keep a simple backdrop to savor barbecue sliders, the signature party mix cole slaw and a rice crispy treat topped with ice cream.
