Great great food!. This place is fairly new, and gets better and better. Our 04/03/10 experience was "out of this world." I cannot express how good the food is here, as every bite is like a work of art. I had the most delicious food I have had in a very long time. Even though Samar serves small dishes, I suggest you share everything. Your taste buds will go crazy in a very good way, even if you have a conservative palate, so eat slowly. You must try the roasted peppers, (they are not hot, just tasty). May I suggest that you then order one meal from each of the three countries on the menu. Our three were veal, pork, and prawns. We finished the meal with chocolate dessert and champagne then headed outside and totally enjoyed the hookah with a delicate Rose tobacco, even though neither of us smoke. If you tried Samar when it opened and it wasn't right, you owe it to yourself to give them another shot. If it's your first visit don't delay, the food and service is impeccable.

WAY OVER RATED. The food is mediocre and way over priced as are the drinks. This place got great reviews because of who the owner is (S.P) not because it is worth going to! I do not go out to eat in order to sit at a pretty bar, or to watch belly dancers, and the food here is definately NOT WORTH GOING BACK FOR! My money says that this place won't make it and that Stephen Pyles is way over rated as a chef.
