BEST SAKE NIGHT. WOW, They have 99 cents sake for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. All Day and All night. They also have $4 Martini, $3 Mix Drink, and $3 Sake on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

This is the best happy hour ever. The sushi was great. So fresh. This is gonna be my favorite Sushi Place.

Great Lunch Buffet. They have a really good lunch buffet. They add more stuff into buffet such as daily special, some cook dishes, and dessert. The price is very reasonable. The Cowboy Roll is unbelieveable. The Dallas Roll is excellent. I really recommend everybody to try their buffet

good lunch sushi buffet. texas/cowboy rolls are worth the trip - some of the nigiri is not as fresh, so watch out for a bad piece here or there

Exceptional Japanese cuisine awaits the sushi-savvy diner at this hip uptown eatery.. The Scene
Sharing a sidewalk with a couple of other popular eateries makes this restaurant a see-and-be-seen experience. Inside, polished concrete floors, low industrial-style lighting and a black-slate sushi bar create a sleek, stylish vibe compromised only by TVs tuned to sports channels. The crowd is hip and casual, and the service is patient and knowledgeable.

The Food
An artful blending of fresh seafood and well-matched sauces render garnishes superfluous on many selections. Soft-shell crab is incredibly light and crisp, both as an appetizer with a drizzle of sweet teriyaki, and in the Spider roll, a surprising trio of crab, mango and punchy curry mayo. Best bets include the skewered Scottish salmon yakatori. For hotter tastes, the oyster po maki roll is mixed with fresh jalapeno. The menu also includes Japanese pork cutlet paired with a zingy ginger-dressing salad. A delicate green-tea ice cream makes for a cool finish.

Great place for sushi. I have eaten sushi a lot and surely Sushi Sapporo has the best sushi in town. They also have a various sushi for lunch buffet. The restaurant is very nice and the service is very friendly. They also have a free complementary vallet parking. Certainly will recommend this to all my friends.

unfriendly/inattentive service. I have their lunch buffet often and the only service I recieve is the water. Other than that, the staff could care less. I didn't leave a tip last time and the waiter came outside as I was leaving yelped..."You mean you aren't giving me a tip?" No service....no tip. The food is delicious and pleasant decor.

HATED IT !. What a Joke !! The worst service EVER !! Not once, but TWICE! Slow service, wait staff is unfamilur with the menu and can not explain or help with selections. Both times our food was wrong when it arrived at the table, the drinks from the bar were wrong as well (and very weak). The manager was uneffective at resolving our problems and the prices were high.

There are too many other places better in the area that WANT your business.

This review applies to lunch only. My coworkers and I used to go to Sushi Sapporo at least once a week primarily b/c of the value we identified with the 11.95 buffet. However, they recently raised the price of this buffet to 13.95 (17% increase). Although 13.95 is still in the average range for a sushi buffet, the value we saw is now gone. We will no longer go there for lunch. There is nothing special about the buffet and nothing was added with the price increase. Everything about it is average so I am not quite sure how they justify a 17% increase in price. At 11.95, I would have recommended this place. At 13.95, I would be hesitant to do so.

Sushi, Sake & Song!!!. One of the Best Sushi Restaurants In the Metroplex. They have an "all you can eat" sushi lunch buffet during the week. (rolls and sliced sushi) They also have flavored Sakes (I like the Apple!), and Karaoke. They just changed (8-1-05) the Karaoke to Saturdays, 9:30p - 1:00a. The show is hosted by a terrific "Cher" impersonator. The music selction is huge, sound system is great, and they have some great singers, and occasionaly some dancers that perform. You have got to check it out!
