The Curry Pot. I went with friends to celebrate a birthday. We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious. I ordered the Curry Pot Mix Grill because I love tandoori chicken. IT was fantastic because I could sample all the tandoori entrees. The people were very friendly & attentive & our birthday girl was given a free dessert. I want to go back for the lunch buffet so I can try a bit of everything. I highly recommend the Curry Pot to people who like Indian food & those who have not yet experienced it. Enjoy!!
Same Manna Restaurant. One of my friends told me that a new restaurant is opened and I went there to check out. I found the same manna guy there. Only the name of the restaurant is changed. The people and taste is same.
Good Indian Food especially Kerala style....
I really love the Food here. Its amazing and also they have a lot of specialities which you dont get else where...
They make really wonderful and authen Kerala style indian Food... They also have other things on their menu....
I specially love their kothu Paratha...
Finally, amazing Indian food!. I moved to the Dallas area a year and half ago from Manhattan. I've been on the hunt for good Indian food and after much searching finally found a place that exceeds my expectations. The saag paneer is phenomenal and all of their food is tastes fresh. I have been back 3x in the past two weeks and am planning to go again tonight.
definitely one of the best in the metroplex.
The restaurant is fairly new, and it came under new management more recently.
Been there a couple of times - for dinner and for a weekend lunch buffet and were not disappointed. Good food, buffet spiced just right (quite a few dishes kid appropriate for hotness), excellent choice and each dish had a distinct flavor (which is usually not the case for a lot of indian restaurants in the area).
The service was friendly, they let us in 10 minutes before closing on a weekday and patiently took our orders (again a surprise for indian restaurants here). On both occasions, the cook came out and talked to each table, and asked a feedback (again a rarity).
With so many indian restaurants opening all around, unfortunately there are very few that warrant a second trip, or stay consistent. Curry Pot passed the first hurdle, now the hope is they continue the good work.
AWESOME!.
The chief knows I love his Chicken Tikka Masala. Its worth its weight in gold! The staff is awesome and they remember me and my friends and our preferences. Once i came in fighting a cold and the chief put together an extra hot spicy rasum for my sinuses. It made my day.
The Biriyani is so tender and flavorful with fresh spices and greens on top I recommend it to indian and non-indian alike!! Unlike other biriyanis, the curry pot's chiefs do not premix and pre-make their food before they serve it and you can tell the difference! It comes serves to you with each grain of rice have its own flavor and texture. Simply said... its awesome.
The curry pot also has their own specialty desserts that are to die for! Fresh Hulva's with cashews and other yummy treats.
Best Indian Restaurant in Plano. The staff is wonderful, very attentive, and courteous. But most of all the food is AWESOME. They cook their own pita bread to use with the various Indian dishes. Chicken Tikki Marsala is MY favorite. :-) But there is so much to choose from. We eat there approximately once or twice a week for the lunch buffet. I just can not get enough of their fabulous food. Highly recommend for authentic Indian Cuisine!
Quality with Quantity.... Really yummy food...tried 4 different dishes and couldn't decide which one was the best..The best thing was, not a single complaint from any of my group mates(impossible). We entered in the restaurant at 9.28pm (closing time of 9.30pm) and still got the best service. Really friendly staff. Just loved the complementary sweet dish at the end. i will recommend it to all the FOODies out there hunting for great taste. Worth a try.
Awesome food :). It has an excellent Indian test food . One must visit this place. Try out Dosa . It has an original test of Indian dosa and sambar.
Very Tasty.
Very tasty food. I would give it a 5 star rating in terms of taste.
Delight for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
I visited this place on weekend and they had lot of variety in terms of main course and they followed it up with a very good desert. Keep up the good work and dont let the quality go down.
