First Choice Emergency Room is the best! My kids love Dr. Blomquist and staff. It's easier for me to get them to go there than the local family doctor we use annually. I highly recommend it over any of the other free standing urgent care places in the Preston/Park 75093 area and/or surrounding areas.

We had a great experience at First Choice ER in Murphy, TX today. Around noon, my 18 month-old son had a sudden allergic reaction to an unknown allergen. I put him in the car and hurried up there. As soon as we walked in the door, I explained my problem and we were taken back immediately. As soon as we were placed in a room, a helpful, calm, friendly nurse explained everything she was doing and reassured me that they could fix him right up. Before I could finish filling out our paperwork, the doctor was in to see us. He examined my son gently and kindly made a "game" out of trying to figure out what he is allergic to. After a quick steroid and a dose of benadryl, we were out the door in about 30 minutes! They were so kind, knowledgeable and reassuring. Our first trip to the ER wasn't nearly as bad as I was anticipating. I will definitely choose First Choice ER in another emergency and I would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

I'm so relieved to know First Choice Emergency Room is so close to me, and accessible 24/7. No more frustration that the other local urgent care places are already closed for the day, and no more waiting for hours at a hospital ER. I was seen quickly, and professionally, and transferred smoothly to my hospital of choice when I needed to be admitted. Friendly, professional care, beginning to end. FCER will be my first stop from now on.

I am kind of new to the area and was not sure where to go as this was the weekend and my Dr.'s office was closed. I found First Choice ER and decided to go in. I am very glad I did. They were so nice and caring. The Dr. had the best bed side manner I have ever experienced in my life. I was in and out in no time. Very great place. Next time I need a Dr. over the weekend or late at night this is where I will go.

I have chronic back pain and injured myself even futher while helping a friend move into a new place. My doctor's office was closed and my normal medications weren't helping. I went to First Choice because it was close and had taken my children there previously when they had the flu. I was seen very quickly and the paperwork was simple. They were able to help me temporarily until I could follow up with my normal doctor. The staff was great, facilities are great. Just a terrific experience overall. Thanks!

Our experience yesterday was pleasant from the moment we walked in the door. The atmosphere is so light and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We were in a room within litterally 5 minutes. The doctor was wonderful as well as the nursing staff. I would recommend to ANYONE to give First Choice ER a chance and I guarantee you will not want to go anywhere else....Thank you. After two days of not being able to get in to see my primary care physician I went to FCER in Murphy. The staff at the entrance was great, the nurse too. Best of all the doctor sincerely cared about me, the person! I was seen by the doctor within an hour and on my way. I will use them again for minor care,but it is great to have a true emergency room in Murphy TX.

Fast, nice and very accommodating when I was VERY sick. They went above and beyond to locate a pharmacy that carried what I needed. Thank you for taking care of me!
