FIRST CLASS SERVICE AND SUPER CLEAN!
What more could you ask for? I've been to other Chinese foot massage places. They are usually pitch black dark on the inside, you sit in a room with about 10 worn-in recliners, a t.v. glows in the room, and the place (what you can see of it) looks dirty. Felax is completely different.
Felax has been open for 3 months now and is nicely decorated, smells like a five star spa, and is extremely clean. As soon as you choose the service the you want, you choose which aromatherapy scent you would like. I chose lemon. Then, you get your choice of beverage: wine, a variety of hot teas, or water. I chose green tea with peach. Then, you are taken to your chair. Each chair sits in its own partitioned space for semi-privacy. You get a "headset" put around your neck/face and so you can breathe in the aromatic oxygen during your massage. Your therapist soaks your feet in hot water (the temperature was just perfectly hot and not luke warm, which I hate). Then your reflexology massage begins. You must keep in mind that this is not the same type of massage your husband or the lady at the nail salon gives you. This is a pressure point reflexology massage that is aimed to help you with all of your body ailments and improve brain function, etc. I got the 60 minute package and chose to use the last 20 minutes for a hand/arm massage. It was wonderful!
My therapist was Lily. She speaks no English but it was not difficult to communicate with her. After all, there is no much to say. She was so sweet and insisted on helping me take off and put on my socks and boots, even though I kept telling her she didn't have to do that.
I was very relaxed when I left Felax. I am a massage/spa snob and I highly recommend it.
The only downside is that I think the prices are a little too high, but I guess it's worth it for the cleanness and first class treatment.
