Car Repair Phobic No More!.
I am an absolute car-phobe. I am constantly worried about getting ripped off at car repair places (thanks to previous experience), or paying through the nose for something I really don't need. My
trip to Chips Auto has changed that.
I received excellent service. Not only was I told what was wrong with my car, but I was actually SHOWN what was wrong with my car. For someone as car challenged as I am, actually seeing where the problems were really set my conscience at ease, and let me know that I did in fact need the services being suggested.
The price of the service was very fair, and definitely better than some places I have been to. They also went out of their way to fix my messed up door and put on the new windshield wipers I had been hauling around with me for ages. All for no extra charge.
I would highly recommend visiting Chips if you want some straight-forward advice with friendly service.…
Best shop in town.. I recently brought my '87 Buick Grand National here for some suspension upgrades. Chip was awesome to deal with and got the work done in a timely fashion and made sure it was top notch. I am very hesitant bringing my car to anybody as I do most of the work myself, but I would absolutely bring the car to Chip again. For the work done, the price was very fair and I doubt many shops in the area could compete. Chip's is highly recommended!…
Great Customer Service. I had recent electrical problem with my Dodge Pickup and took it to another shop first for an estimate. The other shop estimated the repair to be an extraordinary amount for what I thought would be a small fix. I took my truck to Chips and was able to get the repair done for an extremely minimal cost. Chip's diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and checked the fix several times to make sure the problem was fixed, all within a few hours. Chips worked with me on the payment and retrieval of my pickup as well because I had left on a trip out of town right after I dropped it off. I was absolutely amazed with the customer service and mechanical service at this shop and will not be taking my vehicle to any other shops in the future. Chip's brings good old fashioned customer service and great rates into the "high priced priced and sub-par repair" modern world of mechanics and auto repair.…

Great work, great deal! Three cars and counting.... I took my new F-150 to Casey for tint. He did a great job at a fair price with a quick turn around. I later had him add a radar detector and remote start and got the same excellent service. Based on that experience, we got a nav/dvd system for my wife's car and then a tint for my daughter's car. Bottom line is Chip's Custom Auto did a great job in each case and has earned a lifetime customer.…
