I have been trying to learn guitar on
and off for many years. I took a class in college for guitar 101, and have had two other teachers. This one is the best thing that could have happened to me. I got exercises to do daily that helped me get my fingers to do the right things. Within a two weeks, I could sort of play and sing four of the songs in the book that I brought with me of songs I wanted to play.
I appreciate the fact that you take
lessons, attendance, and quality seriously. It's easy for people to get interested in things and then find excuses to slack off. I find that being expected to practice, make appointments, and have a certain level of discipline is very helpful.
