Really good shrimp and chive dumpling. Hong Kong Royal is a good dim sum restaurant. A lot of reviews recommend their shrimp and spinach dumpling (which is good) but I prefer their shrimp and chive dumpling. It is pan fried for a moment after it is steamed and it gives it a great flavor.

Yum, Yum...Dim Sum. I have been eating here weekly since their opening. A client introduced me to this hidden treasure that should be Zagat rated at the highest level! Excellent service from friendly people and awesome food. A great presentation and wonderful flavors is what you can expect from this place. They are consistent and fast.

Great place for parties too with ample seating...LOVE IT!!!

Best Chinese food in Dallas. I am surprised that I haven't already reviewed Hong Kong Royal, it has been my favorite Chinese resturant for years. They are known for their dim sum, especially their shrimp and spinach dumplings.

I love that they make their dim sum to order on the weekdays. They have cart service on the weekends but I am usually able to go on week days and love that they make it to order for us.

It is BYOB which makes it a fun weekend evening place that doesn't bust the budget. It is a big space and nice for large groups because you can always find a spot.

Best Dim Sum in the Dallas area. Cart service on just the weekends, sadly means no cart service during the week, but it also means all dim sum during the week is made to order which does help make it the freshest and best dim sum around.
