In Short – A glass counter of baked sweets greets patrons as they enter the warm diner atmosphere that features cozy booths, wooden walls and tables. The extensive menu offers egg dishes like omelettes, as well as bagels, pancakes with fruit, waffles and biscuits. Beyond breakfast, the menu continues to provide choices from salads to hamburgers to soups and steaks. Daily specials range from hot soups on the weekends to roast beef and steaks on Tuesday.
Why Go To New York?
by huskyduck at Citysearch
Cindi's is as good as anything in the Big Apple. And this opinion comes from a person who has eaten at all of New York's famous deli's. The corned beef and pastrami are both made ON THE PREMISES from prime quality Texas beef. The matzoh ball soup is made from real chicken broth prepared daily from scratch and is absolutely addictive.
Desserts are ultra special at Cindi's. Share a piece of chocolate cheesecake with your hunnie and you'll add years to your marriage. Pies are all made from scratch each morning and better than grandma's.
Service is warm and efficient and always comes with a smile. The owner, Anh Tran, is a true American success story and one of Dallas' most successful entrepreneurs.
- Pros: Homemade Pies, Matzoh Ball Soup, Warm Service
