The brace on my garage door broke and I called Rocket Garage Door Service based on reviews. He did a thorough repair, replacing all the rollers, installing two braces, replacing the single spring with a double spring, and now my door is quieter than I have ever had it. Works like a charm, and he did it all quickly, even arranging his morning to accommodate my schedule.

I called Rocket to install a new garage door motor. He was very accommodating and came out on a Sunday. This would have been great if the door worked.

I called back and he said that it was out out of line. I did what he said and it worked 1 or 2 times.

I called again. He said that I needed something and the cost would be another $50.

Again, it worked 1 or 2 times.

I called AGAIN. He would be happy to come out if I would pay him yet AGAIN.

This has all happened within 2 weeks of the initial installation. I have a garage door that still does not open.

I have an older house and have service people out here all the time. This is the only time I have written a negative review. The lack of professionalism (translate: being yelled at and repeatedly interrupted) and the complete absence of quality has prompted me to share my hard learned wisdom. NEVER pay in cash. A discount is promised if you pay in cash so that the consumer has less chance of recovering his/her loses.

I have used Rocket Garage Door Service twice now, and he is very prompt on handling repairs. I have learned a great deal about garage doors, and have been exceptionally pleased with the service. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs garage door service.

I found Rocket (Tom) while looking for a local repair company to replace a broken spring. I already had a phone estimate and wanted another. The online reviews were excellent, so I gave him a call.

Tom explained, based on the info I gave him, everything he would do and recommended, even giving me options to replace the rollers, which may or may not be in good shape. His phone quote was lower on springs only and only slightly higher than the other company if I added the rollers, but his was all-inclusive; no service fee nor surprises.

He offered to come last night, no matter how late. I couldn't do it, so he said "How early?" I said, "The earlier, the better." He showed up at 6:30am this morning. He went right to work, explained everything and everything was exactly as he described and the price he quoted. The door is now completely balance and quiet, particularly with the new rollers, which are much better than the ones he took off.

The springs have a life-time warranty and labor is free for 12 months.

Lucked into getting Tom to repair my broken garage door spring when the company I called asked him to take over for them. Instead of getting someone at the end of the day, and maybe repaired the next day, Tom was there by 11:00 AM, and had my garage repaired, serviced, and gave me the full class on how to determine when to call someone before there's bad news before lunch was over. Oh, and yes, he has a special deal if you pay cash, and the lifetime warranty, etc. etc. (just read the other reviews, you'll see what I mean.) Lucky, lucky me!

My husband and I bought our home a couple of years ago and didn't have time to accurately service the garage door. My husband found Tom online today and Tom was in my driveway within an hour of my call. Initially, Tom spent 15 minutes on the phone with me in a very detailed explanation of his services which focused on garage door safety, current garage door technology, protecting his time and mine, and saving both our monetary resources; and he delivered it all efficiently, cleanly, and with a wonderful sense of humor. Our garage door is now quiet and runs smoothly and his price is very honest, reasonable, and agrees with his initial phone quote. I'm so glad my husband found Tom online today.

Home from work, garage door not working, spring inside a metal tube broken. Tom was recommended to me and I called him at 6:30 pm. He was very knowledgeable, provided a series of options and was at my house by 8:10pm and the door was fixed by 9:15 at an extremely fair price. Tom was very friendly and took the tie to explain everything to me. I will be scheduling tom back to convert my other door in the near future. I highly recommend Tom and Rocket Garage Door Service.
