Rat at Ringo's. Other than my girlfriend catching a rat and getting bitten by it, the bar should be below most individuals' expectations. About 15 minutes after sitting down at a booth inside the bar, screaming interrupted our conversation. Patrons were of course yelling and standing on their chairs because a rat was loose and roaming around the bar. 5 to 10 minutes later and after the staff made little to no attempt to catch the filthy bugger, my girlfriend reaches down and grabs it. Of course the rat bit her, and she then held it for about 30 seconds waiting for the staff to come to her aid with a trash bag. The patrons in the bar then gave her a standing ovation, in thanks for ridding the bar of a rodent. After 15 minutes of waiting for our waitress to come by, I got up and found her. I then asked her if it wasn't too much trouble to ask for the manager, at a minimum, to at least come by and thank her for doing a job that an exterminator should have taken care of; not to mention, asking her if she needed any medical treatment for any number of diseases that could have been transmitted to her. 5 minutes later the waitress came over with free shot, yet still no manager. 5 minutes later the tables on both sides of us, were complaining that we had not even been given a thank you. One table called the manager over to discuss the matter as they believed my girlfriend did the bar a huge favor. The table told the manager that we should be comped our $30 tab. At this suggestion the manager threatened to assault one young gentleman and then asked him to step outside so that he could make good on his threat. I have never seen anything like this in my entire life. Right as we were about to leave the manager came over and thanked my girlfriend for catching the rat. After being told how ungrateful he was by multiple patrons he took care of our small tab and we left. Needless to say I will never go back to this rat infested establishment.

Seriously get it together. Managers threatening to assault patrons is out of control. I would hope that the owner of this establishment if he knew of what happened would fire all staff involved in this grossly inadequate showing of customer service.
