Ears Beware!. Let me first say that this review won't be helpful to everyone--just the people who care about what they hear when they're shopping. I was so excited when USA came to Desoto. I used to have to travel at least 20 minutes to get to the one on Polk (which I loved). The people there have always been nice and friendly. Recently, I decided that I'd run by my local beauty supply and pick up a few items. I went in and began looking for my hair products. But I couldn't concentrate on what I was buying because of the music that was playing in the store. Song after song after song about sex! Descriptive sex acts and pretty much stuff that would happen in the bedroom. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I looked at the cashiers, and they were bobbing there heads to the music like it was sounding good to them. Thank goodness there weren't any children in the store! They normally have less offensive music on or Christian music playing. It was so offensive, I had to say something. After I told them how offensive the music was, they just looked at me like "and...what?". They didn't apologize for the offensiveness or anything...and I'm a pretty regular customer! If they do nothing about their music, they have lost a customer and a good recommendation.
