Worst Brunch. Celebrated a special birthday Sunday Brunch here today. First bad sign is there were two other tables of guests - we were third. Then we were told go help our selves, which we did. There were four Greek items: bad dolmas, dry spanikopata, greek oives with feta cheese and pretty good hummus. We had read mimosas were free. They were never offered or mentioned by the waiter. He never once reilled coffee. He never offered to refill mimosas. He jerked a full plate of food out from under the birthday boys face and said, you can get some more if you want. It only hinted greeek, had horible service and cost $73.00 for 3. Oh, what a fool I am. Never again. *Tried rating it zero, but had to give one star - undeservingly."
Great food, service and value. I visited this restaurant at lunch time mid week. It was very busy but I was seated promptly. I made the bad choice of sitting in the "entry way" by the front door, so got a blast of hot air as patrons came and went, but that was my bad choice. I was offerred seating anywhere in the restaurant, but chose this table to avoid the very loud noise level in other rooms. However, the rest of the experience was very good. My server, Emily, was very attentive, and the food was excellent. I had the "Greek Lasagne", Pastichio, which was creamy, well seasoned, and a large portion. Yummy !! Also induldged in a small order of the Dolmades, grape leaves stuffed with meat & rice and a wonderful lemon, oil and herb sauce. Obviously, I had a lot to bring home for lunch again tomorrow. It's a lively, happening space, with a mixture of young professionals, seniors, and ladies lunching.....and if you are not there to have a quiet, intimate visit, the noise level is tolerable. Great atmosphere overall....one large room in the back, and two smaller areas off the left and right of the entrance. If you like great Greek food, this is the place!
My first taste of cucumber sauce! So yummy!. So, this is my favorite restaurant these days. I particularly like the location off of Knox better, but this location does well in a pinch. I love the veggie dish and the potatoes, pita bread and ziziki sauce are to die for. I hope you try it soon! Also, this is a really good place for date night. : )
