Wonderful Food!. I'm sad to hear the other user had such a bad experience, because ours was the opposite.

My girlfriend and I went to Coal Vines for a happy hour wine and pizza and were not disappointed. It was a nice day, so we sat on the patio. The server (a female, forgot her name) was very attentive, and suggested bottles of wine we should try. We went with a Merlot, that was not only good, but affordable!

We started off with the salmon tower (had to, it had goat cheese on it) then had the white pizza. Everything was fantastic, and I'm already planning my next girls night!

Must tries: salmon tower, white pizza, caesar salad

RUDE MAITRE D. We were invited to a birthday dinner at Coal Vines Legacy. Our evening started off with the maitre d chewing out our party organizer because our entire party didn't arrive at exactly 6:30pm. He said table turnover was very important and our incomplete party was exactly why they don't seat incomplete parties. My question is . . . why did you seat our party incomplete??? He had every right to question when they rest of the party would arrive but his rude words were uncalled for. I was shocked that he was being so rude to the person that organized the dinner.

At this time we offered to start ordering to help speed things up but the waiters were inattentive. They took our drink orders and were scarcely seen after that. We had to flag down the wait staff to place our meal orders, we had flag down the wait staff to find out where our food was, and we had flag down wait staff to ask for the check to get out of there. We finally left the restaurant at 9:30; our dining experience took 3 hrs. If table turnover was really important I would think service would be top priority

The food was not worth the long wait either. Even though we all ordered at the same time individual meals where delivered over a 20 minute period. The pizzas were burned and delivered to the wrong people who ordered them. When they realized they had delivered the pizza to the wrong person they actually picked it up with two pieces eaten from it and placed it in front of the person who actually ordered it. Here is your 1/2 eaten pizza, ENJOY! I also wouldn't recommend the undercooked eggplant. Really bad!

I will not be returning to Coal Vines.
